If you are new here and don't know that I'm a retired shop owner...well get this...I've got the fever to start back at what I LOVE...selling home decor items. Okay ladies...I'm not going full power with this just yet...first I'm making some frames to sell to local shop owners and if I like how that goes...then I might just make some pillows and who knows...the next step I can see myself selling at some nearby shows. The business that I was in...was antiques/gift items and I was located in several upscale antique shops here along the gulf coast. I sold farmhouse...cottage and shabby chic style merchandise and lots and lots of vintage linens. So if I get back into the business again...I'm sure I will have the same style going on...until then...I'm just going to play around with some handmade (one of a kind) picture frames. How did all of this get started? Well...my best friend is just about to open a gift shop here in town and I offered to make her some picture frames for her shop and there you go...I caught the FEVER! Please be honest and tell what you think...that's what friends do:)
Happy to have you here,
Linda
Down on the farm!
What a cute model I have here!
We love our cotton here in the
DEEP SOUTH!!!
To be honest...I'm not really
lovin' this one...it just might
be removed from the
shop.
Now this one...I'm sooooo LOVIN'!!!
The lighting is really poor here...sorry!
Another cutie pie!!!!
Just a start...I have so many
more ideas on future ones,
so stay tune there is more
to come!

Love your sweet frames, Linda! And, how wonderful you're going after your dreams! I've started making custom wreaths and am hopefully going after my dreams, too! Thanks for inspiring us ... you'll be very successful, I'm sure!
They are great, will keep you busy!

Adorable! Go for it!
What a cute idea & I love the burlap ribbon! While I currently work a full time job, my dream is to own a antique shop with my mom and sisters..maybe one day.
I am a new follower to your blog and really enjoy it. I also have a new blog. I would love if you could follow me also. Thanks :)

I love them! You are so creative!
They are all precious...love the sweet babies! What a great idea! ♥
Very Sweet! I love the simplicity! I'm also a retired shop owner and know exactly what you're talking about... Is it something in our blood to want to dive back in? I'm thinking about an etsy shop myself...just haven't decided exactly what I want to do. Good luck with your venture... I'll follow your blog!
You frames are so wonderfully creative, Linda! Congrats on your new business!
Thanks for linking to Potpourri Friday. I appreciate you participation!
Love the frames -- my only suggestion would be that the cross/clothespin one needs 'something' - maybe vintage jewelry or something on the clothes pin or modpodge the pin with pretty paper? You could add a small amount of stenciling or a graphic on the others? Wish I was in your shoes with a place to sell things!
Wow! I'm so impressed! I've never seen anything like them before which means you're on to something! I think they're very cute and cleverly put together. They truly look handmade with love. I say go for it. What do you have to lose? Any that don't sell you can always give as gifts yourself. With the holiday season coming up, you should do quite well.
Great idea!!! Love the very first one. It's my fav!!
First one is my favorite. Keep them coming!
Great ideas!

I wish you much success, and don't eliminate anything, there is someone out there who just might want that one thing, and sometimes it is just what abuyer may need at any given time. I love the baby one.
Happy Fall,
Hugs,
Ellen
Those are so cute and unique!
