Springtime at Pottery Barn

Have you been to Pottery Barn lately? I went in last week to check out the casual china and flatware that Haley has registered for...I love both of the patterns and look forward to a dinner at her new home with Cam (I guess Mr.CC and I will be invited over for dinner...at least once)...do your get invited over to your grown kids homes for dinner? So, Haley if you are reading this...don't forget that it's fun to entertain your parents...we will be waiting:) While I was there I did a little shopping (I guess it's called window shopping, when you just look and don't buy)...going back later to make some purchases...wonder what I'm going to buy...any ideas? Now let's take a look at what I was drooling over.
Hope you have a great day...I'm on
my way to my beach condo
                                                     for a couple of days...I
                                                         so need me some
                                                             beach time!
                                                           See ya soon,
                                                                Linda

I love the idea of using a moss basket like
this one at the wedding...any thoughts
on that? Now thrifty me will not
be paying $89 for this one...I'm
                                           going to make my own...wish
                                                          me luck!

Now this Woven Vine Basket at $49 has also got
                                                     my attention.
                                        Look at these cuties...thought that
                                          $39 wasn't a bad price for these
                                               wooden carved bunnies.

Great choice...easy to mix and match!
                                          Also another beautiful choice...just a
few more items and she will
be all set up and ready
                                           to entertain (her parents...he he)!

PB is such a fun place to look. I love your daughter's selections! If you're like my mom, you'll be doing most of the inviting.
Have a great time at the beach!

Oh no...PB is now calling my name. 60 miles round trip isn't that far, right?

I hope you have a nice break at the beach Linda. And my grown daughter sometimes has us for dinner, she lives a little far to do it regularly. So I'm sure you'll have some lovely dinners at your daughter's place! I love all of the great PB stuff too!

I confine all my shopping to the PB Outlet in Dawsonville, Georgia. Even there I am very careful of what I buy!

I rarely get in a Pottery Barn store (they are all too far from here) but I loved so much in the catalog this time. As for getting invited to my kid's places for dinner...hahaha! Of course mine aren't married. My son would never even think of it...he still likes to show up here for dinner when he gets a chance. He's almost 29 (I had been married 9 years at that age). My daughter has a one bedroom apartment in Orlando. She loves to cook and actually probably would cook for us if we seemed interested. We tend to take her out to eat when we are there because we see her so seldom. Have fun at the beach...sounds like heaven!

Oh, I love that moss covered basket, too! I had already a few days ago to try to make my own. I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours! (I haven't even found the supplies yet.)

I left out a word in my comment above. It should read "I had already decided a few days ago..."
Oops! The brain works faster than the fingers!

I just got the new PB catalog and they have all their wonderful beachy things now!! I love these spring treasures too! Have a great time and soak in some sun for us here in the north. :)

The moss basket is adorable and you could do it so much cheaper than $89.00. Probably about $80.00 cheaper!

It's a very good thing that the Pottery Barn here is an hour away. They have the most beautiful things. Haley has good taste! I like the china and flatware she's picked out. Timeless!
The moss basket is a great idea! I can imagine you could make one just as cute for a lot less.
I would have been by sooner but I have the worst cold. Ugh! Have a wonderful weekend away!
Hugs!!!

Hi Linda! We absolutely loved entertaining our parents when we were first married and still do! She made some great choices and you can tell your good taste has been handed down to her. :-) I love all of the Spring Inspiration from PB too and I'm so glad you linked this up to Inspiration Friday this week!

I love Pottery Barn's Easter decorations. I just picked up a few things. Every time I go in there - I end up buying stuff I don't even need!!
