French Toast from Coastal Living
Every month when my COASTAL LIVING magazine arrives in the mail...I grab a glass of tea or lemonade...take off to my screened porch (or this month it would be inside by a cozy fire)...and read it like a book...just have a hard time putting it down. I found a recipe in the December/January issue for "Baked French Toast with Pecan Streusel"...doesn't that sound yummy?
I had been thinking about doing something different for Christmas morning...I knew when I found this recipe...it was what we were going to have here at COASTAL CHARM come Christmas morning! After we had opened up all our gifts...we headed into the kitchen to try it out...one word describes this dish...SCRUMPTIOUS! I'm a huge fan of French Toast and this is now my favorite...try it out...I'm sure you will LOVE it too!

This recipe looks fantastic, and sounds so yummy too. I can't wait to try it out on the family. I always say if the Grandkids will eat it then it is fantastic. They will be here this weekend, and I am going to try it out on them and see what they think.
Ofcourse I have to taste test myself to make sure they are correct.
Thanks for the recipe and the company today. I hope you all warm up down there. What in the world? You all have had a cold spell you are not accustomed to.
Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

How fun to read Coastal Living by the fire!! I was worried that you coastal folks (including my daughter) didn't own much outer wear!! Weird coastal weather, huh?
