It Will Look Different This Year
Just one short week away from today and we will all be celebrating the day our Savior was born...Hallelujah!!! My favorite Christmas family tradition is attending our Christmas Eve service at our church. Since joining our church over 24 years ago, I don't think we have ever missed this event. All the decorating is done, gifts have been purchased and wrapped, so now it's on to baking some yummy treats. I will also get crafty this weekend and make some pom pom garlands and wreath...more on that later. What are you doing this weekend? Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy yourself and remember why we celebrate December 25. NOTE: This post is from Christmas 2014...so stay in touch and I will have our SIMPLE CHRISTMAS 2015 ready to share soon!
Blessings,
Linda
Our 2014 Tree
Taking a look in our family room.
White...Silver...Gold are the colors in this room.
All shiny and bright!!!
A car from my hubs childhood.
I finally got around to painting my
coffee table last week...oh my...it
looks so much better!!
Close-up photos of my mantel can be
found here.
My new dresser even got a little
bling!!!
I got crafty yesterday and made a few
little clipboard ornaments. This is a
super easy DIY project and one that
you still have time to make.
I made this music sheet garland last
year and I am still lovin' how it looks
on our tree.
I'd love for you to stay connected with Coastal Charm...so come on over and join me there!!!

Looking Back
Things are shiny bright in the kitchen this year, with all my vintage pretties. I guess, you could say, it's a "Vintage Christmas Kitchen" at Coastal Charm this year. You will find a lot of old Shiny Brite ornaments, a cute little red truck, vintage Christmas cards, some strings of old Christmas lights and lots more. This year, I didn't remove anything, I just added some vintage Christmas items to what I already had in the kitchen. After all, this is the hub of the house and where everyone migrates to. I added just a few things, here and there, that carry on the old fashioned vintage theme. So here are some photos without many words. NOTE...This is looking back to Christmas 2014....Christmas 2015 is coming soon!!!!
Blessings,
Linda
Come on in y'all!!!
I thought long and hard about what I wanted
to say on our huge chalkboard.
Vintage flower frogs are not
only for flowers.
Thought I was going to sell this "cool"
old jar, but I had second thoughts on
this one.
My chicken feeder got filled up with some of
my favorite vintage ornaments.
This cute clown is new to me this year.
This Santa one, came from my hubs
childhood.
This old black suitcase is looking very festive.
All of these came from my hubs
childhood too.
When my daughters are ready to
add some vintage Christmas to their
décor, I will be happy to pass on
these family heirlooms.
