Here we are at my FIRST Tablescape Thursday...guess it's okay for my FIRST one! I love the simple look of BLACK and WHITE so this is what I wanted for my FIRST tablescape. I used a mixture of items...everything from family antiques to dollar store bargains! Take a look around and I promise my next one will be much better...thanks sooooo much for looking!

I love the dried white beans to hold the candles, they're perfect!
Great job! Those candles in the hurricanes are wonderful!
Most would not thing of putting black and white together as much as colors. You did a great job with it.
I love those candles! Black and white is always so classic - you can never go wrong.

Very pretty! Love those beans with candles in the big glass containers. And I like your golden colored walls. I never set a table. We usually just eat together in the tv room. Right now my dining table is a big mess from craft stuff. Have a great weekend. :) Tammy
Love it, so chic. You do such a great job of making things look elegant but also approachable.

I'm with you on the black and white tablescape... I like to add a little green to mine though... love your beach theme... Alabama Gulf Coast huh? My family spent a year living in Theodore AL when I was in HS (about 100 years ago)... loved Dolphin Island when we were there... the same year hurricane Camille came through!
thanks for following French Lique... I'm doing the same here... see ya soon! Dixie
Well done, Linda! Looks so inviting...what are you serving?!
Love what you did with the candles!!! That looks great!
Well done to take a classic and personalise it with your own creative twist.
Hey Linda, thanks so much for coming to see me. Your tablescape is lovely. So well put together. I also love black and white, especially black. In fact, they say (whoever they are) that there should a little black in every room in your home. There is in mine. And I love your idea of using the navy beans. They are also very tasty cooked with ham and cornbread! lol, Shelia
Linda, I think you did good! I love the beans holding the candles. I also like b & w.
smiles, alice
Hi,
I am a new beginner too. But living in Stockholm, Sweden.

TY for sharing your ideas.

Hi Linda, Thanks so much for visiting and joining my blog, Rustique Gallery. I love your tablescape and the posting about your porch swing. I dream of swinging in the breezes too. It's 15 degrees out today and clouding up for another snowstorm, so I'll keep plugging on my Studio Redo. Enjoy the weekend! Sherry
Thanks so much for stopping by Linda and for your kind comment... Oh I only wish I was where you are... I looked through several of your posts but I had to stop I couldn't see past the tears... we are in the deep freeze right now and I am so not a winter girl...
Your home is gorgeous and I love your tablescape, very nice job...
Hugs,
Deb

Very pretty! I love the vase filler you used.
What a great debut for TT, Linda! Beautifully done & very creative, too.
Are your stemware glasses sitting in metal rimmed coasters? If so, I could just kick myself for giving away some of those when we moved. I hadn't used them in years & now I sure wish I had them back. :( They look wonderful on your table!!!
Thanks for stopping by.
DH had his ♥ stent put in on Mon. so I'm a little behind in responding to my favorite blogs. I'm glad I didn't miss this post!
