Speaking of the Marketplace, I had another awesome weekend, as far as my sales went. I also got to meet two of my readers, one local gal and the other one came from Pensacola. Another Weekend At The Marketplace

Hello local gals, we are open and ready for y'all to come shop with us this weekend. If you have already been by, please be sure to come again, we have  a lot of new vendors and they have some awesome booths. Hours this weekend are Sat. 9-5 and Sunday 12-4. My Top Ten List Of Flea Market Finds For 2012

My Top Ten List of Flea Market Finds for 2012.
Today, I will be sharing just two, check back with me later for more!

Y'all know me...I would much rather head to a flea market than to a mall so I thought I would give you the list I take with me

when I head out to hunt and gather.

Let's see what's on my list....

1. Architectural Pieces. Things like garden gates, mantels, old doors and windows. These things never get boring...I always find new uses for anything unique. I sold this garden gate for wedding...what a charming item to use for displaying black and white pics of the couple.

2. Anything Galvanized. Buckets, bins and old oil cans take on new life as light fixtures, planters and shelves. It a great way to add a touch of industrial to your home.

Burlap Coffee Sacks...Rock

I am finding out that burlap coffee sacks...ROCK!!! Every time, I make something with them for my booths, they fly right out the door. I have used them to cover chair seats, made pillows with them and have framed them in large frames as artwork. I love making things that I like to have in my own home..it's a lot more fun that way. Let's just take a little survey here today. Do you own anything that involves burlap coffee sacks?
