Have you noticed that I have been MIA lately? Well, it was for a good reason, Mr.CC and I were on vacation, and oh it was a great one too. More later on all the places that we visited. Today, I am sharing the end of our trip...kinda like I look and read a magazine:) I have been reading and drooling over the the Country Living magazine for many years, so when the weather turned bad on us in Charleston, we decided to leave a day early and head over to the show in Atlanta. Sometimes a change in plans, turn out good and this is one of them. Best of all, I found an item that I have been searching for, a very long time. Mr.CC said I was smiling ear to ear, when he spotted me standing there guarding it. Before I share my treasure, let's see some pics from this wonderful show.

Oh I so wanted to go to the CL Fair but a very important event took precedent. My grandson's 3rd birthday. :) But next year I hope to make it and maybe even be a vendor. I love your finds. I have about 6 vintage kitchen scales but none like that one. LOVE it. I can't believe I gave away an old vintage typewriter about 25 years ago. What was a I thinking? :(

I couldn't help but think that it looked like a big campground! But with lots of goodies for sale! I have been REALLY wanting a scale! An old chippy one, of course. The typewriter is gorgeous! So...the change of plans was good thing!

Thanks for sharing the photos, Linda. I have enjoyed looking at all the treasures. I have never seen that many grainsacks in one place before. Maybe one day I can make it to a large fair like that.
Sometimes a change of plans is a good thing. And this was a great thing! Love the scales and the typewriter.
Maybe I'm just being a baby from up North, but when I was saw the first photo, my eyes went to the lady sitting on the ground under the tree and all I could think was she's going to have a snake scrawl up her back. Pine needles and snakes go together in my mind.
Glad you enjoyed your time at the fair. Kicking myself for not going. I had plans on Sat. then I thought I could go on Sunday, but it was too cold for me.

Thanks for sharing the Country Living Fair. It's on the list of things I want to do. Seeing your photos was next best to being there.
I only click on stuff I love and you just kept popping up at 'French Country Cottage.' I can't begin to tell you how much I LOVE your scale and typewriter. Green? just a tiny tiny bit. Sounds like you had just a fabulous vacation.
