WELCOME!!!!
Loved this HUGE pine cone, made
with pine cones.
It's Fall y'all!
Gain sacks anyone?
You could buy it by the yard.
I didn't need anymore, so I passed
on these.
It was nice seeing lamp shades like some
of the ones that I have been making.
Just look how cute this one is...LUV!!!!
Wonderful mid-century goodies!
Charming booth.
One of a kind frames.
Looking forward to making
some of these.
I have already got some great ideas
how to make mine a tad bit
different.
Treasures were everywhere.
So sweet looking.
Well, here she is!!!!!
My FAVORITE
treasure!
She is the perfect size
and just full of charm.
I will be sure to share with y'all
later, on where I put her in my nest.
Coming in second, is this treasure.
She was a steal of a deal:)

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous change of plans! Love your new treasure Linda!
ReplyDeleteOh I so wanted to go to the CL Fair but a very important event took precedent. My grandson's 3rd birthday. :) But next year I hope to make it and maybe even be a vendor. I love your finds. I have about 6 vintage kitchen scales but none like that one. LOVE it. I can't believe I gave away an old vintage typewriter about 25 years ago. What was a I thinking? :(
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do with your finds.

I adore Charleston but this looked like a great detour - lots of treasures! Love your scale - congrats!
ReplyDeleteThat looked like so much fun. I love the straw on the ground. Thank you for the inspiration, from the frames. What did she price those at?
ReplyDeleteMissy
Thanks for sharing the photos, Linda. I have enjoyed looking at all the treasures. I have never seen that many grainsacks in one place before. Maybe one day I can make it to a large fair like that.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a change of plans is a good thing. And this was a great thing! Love the scales and the typewriter.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm just being a baby from up North, but when I was saw the first photo, my eyes went to the lady sitting on the ground under the tree and all I could think was she's going to have a snake scrawl up her back. Pine needles and snakes go together in my mind.
Glad you enjoyed your time at the fair. Kicking myself for not going. I had plans on Sat. then I thought I could go on Sunday, but it was too cold for me.
ReplyDeleteI went to the CL Fair here in Ohio and it was amazing! You got some goodies! Thanks for hosting :)
