Family Time At The Lake

It can't get any better than this...family time on the lake!!!! We spent last week at Lake Martin, and boy we sure had a wonderful relaxing time there. This was a much needed vacation for us. Mr.CC and I have both been very busy with our jobs, so laid back time, was just what the doctor ordered. I will say, that since I have been back home, I have been a busy bee again (oh well). I have done some painting and fluffing at my Cotton City booth...added some new merchandise too. Now, all you local gals, come on by and check it out. I will be posting pics soon, I promise. Now, let's take a look at how the COASTAL CHARM crew takes a break at the lake!
                                       Blessings,
                                          Linda

My two favorite flags!!!!
NOTE...Auburn University is
only about 30 minutes away
from the lake.
                          My BEST FRIEND...Mr.CC!!! We will
be celebrating our 27th anniversary later
                                          this month!!!

He did a great job driving his girls
                                      around the lake.
These two always have fun together.

Now just look at her skills:)
                             Even Mr.CC did some tubing!!!
I think he forgot how old he is.
This is a popular spot on the lake...Chimney Rock.
People love to paint the rocks.
They love to jump off from them too!!!
                                Every lake needs a lighthouse...
and a lakeside church...don't ya think?

                                Early evening fishing was fun.

It would have been better, if we had caught just one!!

Thanks for coming by for a visit
with us!!!!

It looks gorgeous, and a lot of fun, Linda. The church and the lighthouse are so pretty. You wouldn't catch me jumping off those rocks!
Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary :)

My neck of the woods! But, our place is on the south end at Blue Creek and I can tell you were near Kowaliga. We've had a place at Blue Creek since June 1968, but rebuilt it 17 years ago and yes, we've all jumped off Chimney Rock a few times...from the high point, too!!
I live in Auburn and love your posts about your love for Auburn, too.

You mean to tell me you didn't jump off Chimney Rock? Every year when we go by there we see all these crazy young folks jumping off!

I love Lake Martin, it's so pretty and peaceful.

Shannon's reception when she got married was a the building behind the lighthouse, she was going to get married in that sweet church but it just wasn't big enough so she got married a the Church in the Pines.

So glad you all enjoyed yourselves.

I can see from your vacation pictures that you all had a great time at the lake! It reminds me of the days my husband and I spent doing the same things with our daughters every summer.

Great pictures, Linda! We spend our time at Smith Lake. {I posted some pictures last week, too, but those were just of me on the tube with one of my best friends.} Our kids love to be on the water; looks like yours do, too! Great memories are being made!

Hi Linda, Thanks for stopping by, and yes, these ladies did such a wonderful job on their camper trailers. You could fix one up as a guest house next to your lake house. Have a great weekend, Connie :)
