AmericasMart

WOW!!! That is the best word to describe this place. Mr.CC and I just got back from our first trip to the AmericasMart in Atlanta, and just let me say...we are both worn out. This week they were having the Spring Immediate Delivery Show, and I thought it would be a good idea to get my feet wet with a small show, before the BIG one comes around in July. After two days at the market, I can say, I had made a good decision on attending this smaller show first. I came home with pillows, candles, hand towels, picture frames, artwork, grain sacks (yes...found a great deal on these),and I even got a few "cool" vintage items that had been used as props in some of the showrooms. When I get all these items in my booths, I will be sure to share with y'all. Right now, it's all over my family room,,,yikes! Here are a few pics from their facebook page, that I thought you might like to see. Now, I am off to soak my sore feet, oh yes, my feet will never be the same again.
                                 Thanks for visiting me,

Glad you got some great finds at the mart! I went Thursday and the crowds had slimmed down. The July show will be crazy. I would suggest that you stay somewhere very close to the mart so you can go there for a break! You'll need several days to see everything!!! Also, going on that weekend is Scott Antique Market. You really should try to get over there while you are up this way.

How fun!! Looks like you came away with some great stuff -- are those little purses or something in the first picture? Love the details on them, whatever they are!

We are planning on going to the July market. All I ever hear from the vendors at the Tupelo market is "you really need to come to the Atlanta market." I have always heard that it is wonderful.

I don't know how you made your selections! Everything looks fabulous, and I'm sure you'll sell out of your inventory quickly. I have always wanted to go to the Mart!
