Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays No.45/Are You Ready To PARTY?

I'm soooo READY for the BIG PARTY tonight...MY #1 AUBURN TIGERS are playing for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE and I'm very pumped!!! We have had an AUsome year and if you have been around me for any length of time, then you know I'm a HUGE AUBURN FAN...I spend most of my Fall weekends in Auburn watching my tigers play. This year I attended six home games and was lucky to get a special ticket for the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME...this was by far my all time favorite game! Mr.CC and I had plans to be in Auburn today to watch the game at our new arena on campus, but because of the ICE STORM those plans have been cancelled :(. I called last night and cancelled our hotel room...that was very hard for me, but I had no choice. I'm praying very hard that power will not go out during game time in Auburn, because all these students (including my very own Mary Claire) so deserve to see their team play in this BIG game...I ask you to say a prayer too. I'm very concerned that these young adults understand the danger of ICY roads...so please also pray that they will stay off the roads and stay SAFE! With all the excitement of the upcoming game, I made an AUBURN tree in my foyer that I will share with you today...I can say that it's a THRIFTY tree to some degree...came right out of my yard here at COASTAL CHARM, but all those game tickets are not very THRIFTY...oh well! I will warn you that this is a very long post, so please hang in there with me...I have lots to share! Thanks for coming today and I hope you have a fun time here at my party...so let's get this party started!
                                                         Hope y'all come back...real soon,
                                                                              Linda
Such a CUTIE PIE...I just LOVE AUBIE!!!

Mr.CC and I with the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY!

I'm sure there will be a ton of these cute AUBURN snowmen in the
                                                           state of Alabama today!
                                                                  ESPN GAMEDAY!!!

Here we are at Toomer's Corner after a big WIN!
Having a fun time with my sister at the LSU game!
Giving CAM NEWTON a high five...love this AUsome TIGER!!!
I'm so proud that we have such a wonderful christian man as our
head coach...thanks Gene for all you do for these young men!
I'm so happy that I got to do a lot of this during our season this year...WAR EAGLE!
Our AUsome seats at the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!
I so hope the next trophy that these young men will be holding up
will be a crystal football...I know you can do it guys...it's only 60 minutes!
If we WIN tonight...my front yard will look like TOOMER'S CORNER...yes I'm going
to roll my own yard...what can I say...it's just in the blood!!!

WAR DAMN EAGLE!!! Wasn't that a fabulous game?!!! We had a crowd here, cheering on our beloved Tigers.

Love your tree!!! I'll have to remember this idea for next season...

Perhaps next season, we can meet up at the pregame festivities...Our friends have a gameday condo, just down from Mama Goldberg's. It's great, especially with the short walk to the stadium, but I do miss our spot by Mary Martin...
