A Little Farmhouse Touch

Today, has been that perfect spring day here on the coast. Hope you are having some of this wonderful weather too. I did help Mr.CC with a new flower bed today, but most of my time was spent sanding furniture outside. Before I headed outside, I changed up a few things in my kitchen. First thing I did, I got out some chalk and changed my chalkboard. I then added a few things that remind me of the popular farmhouse style. So, let's see what I came up with.
                                                  Blessings,
                                                     Linda

                                       Farmhouse style here at
                                              Coastal Charm.

I am always inspired by MMS...
                                               how about you?

                               Nothing screams FARMHOUSE more
than a bucket of fresh eggs!

I finally removed this rooster from
my beach condo...it just never felt
                                                    right there.

Mr. CC found this wonderful old
                                apple basket...he sure catches on
                                          quick to my style!

I am loving the farmhouse style! My house is a mixture of different styles all blending but my kitchen is definitely farmy/country. I grew up with both sets of grandparents living on big farms! I just can't get away from those summer days on the farm and grandmas country kitchen.

As if one could single out a single item to "ohhh" and "ahhh" over but I did. The apple basket! I so love that! It looks so sturdy and the dark stain really is a fabulous contrast to a mostly white decor. Such a lovely piece of history to grace your home!

Everything is lovely, but the apple basket is the best.

My husband is a great guy and after 42 years of marriage, I am certainly going to keep him. But, I sure wish he would bring home great finds for me.
