Weighing My Options

Hey my friends, I'm happy you're stopping in today, for a little visit with me. Welcome to all my new followers, I'm so glad that you want to follow along with me here, at Coastal Charm. I have a question for all of you today. Have you ever drooled over an item, and even had dreams about it.  Sure you have, right? The bad thing is, I really don't have a place in my little coastal nest to put it, bummer!!! For about a year now, I have been admiring these charming vintage scales. So, if one day, I come across one with a NIFTY THRIFTY price tag on her, she's mine! Just what will I remove, to make room for her? Only time will tell. Here are two I found while pinning. Now, isn't Pinterest a ton of FUN?
                         Blessings,
                           Linda

Oh yes. If I ever came across one with the right price I'd grab that baby and never let go! I'd make sure I had room for it somewhere :)

Those are gorgeous. I would love to find a set of scales somewhere, but I am like you...no idea where I would put them. I especially love the first pic.

I looked at your scales on Pinterest and they are gorgeous. These do take up room. I have started selling one or two of my vintage kitchen scales because I have way too much stuff.

Of course you make the purchase ;)! Just keep layering!

I passed up several things that I found and loved, just because it would not fit where it should go! I like going junking, but don't want my house to get junky with too much stuff. It surely is a pretty scale...

They are gorgeous. I would have never thought to put one on my dresser, but it looks fabulous there!

Oh that style is beautiful - you could rationalize that size because it becomes a storage/display piece, right? I have a small one I scored for 5.00 and it moves all around the house depending on the season or what I'm changing up in my decorating!

If you find a deal you must not pass it up. Try it out in different places and you can always sell it if it just doesn't find the perfect place to rest in your nest.
I would love one too, but I never see them around here.
Have a great week.

I'm also a lover of scales (except for the kind I have to step on!!!).

I picked up a great small-sized flower frog at your Cotton City location this weekend. Very cute, and just what I needed! I'll be back for more goodies!

I sigh {ok, and maybe drool a little} everytime I see one of these old scales. If I would ever find one, I would definitely make room somewhere in my home...they are such interesting pieces!

I know! Aren't those big scales neat?! I saw a hosptial one once at an antique store... it had a baby deer on it. It was beautiful, but I thought, where on earth would I PUT it? The next week it was gone. :( But that's ok, I have to save room for my typrewriters :D xo, andrea b.
