DIY Beach Condo Bathroom Makeover

We are starting out the new year with a few new items here in our coastal bathroom...a DIY project that was done with some help from Mr.CC. The two of us work pretty well together (thank goodness) when it comes to doing home DIY projects, so we are not afraid to jump right in there to get her done!!! The vanity really needed to be replaced, let's just say...it was falling apart:( This is a very small bathroom, so we were limited on the size of vanity that we could install and that meant, we had to do a ton of shopping around for just the right one. The one we found was a unfinished vanity...I knew right away that I would get out some of my ASCP and get to work. We found the perfect counter/sink to go with it, then a new faucet was the next thing on the list. After this was all complete, I decided to put up a new shelf, now this meant another ASCP victim was on my to-do list. Okay...it's now time to see what we did!
I would love to hear what
                                            ya think,
                                              Linda

                                         Oh...I'm lovin' it!
I use warm colors in the condo at this
time, a few years ago this room was
lime green! Can you see those new
knobs? I forgot to get a close up pic
of them...they are some pretty mercury
glass knobs that I found at Hobby
                                               Lobby.
                                Bye bye 1990's vanity!!!!
Some ASCP in coco...love this color!

                              Simple faucet...for a simple gal!
I never really thought that I would
like this style of sink, but I LOVE
                                                  IT!!!!
A shelf that is about 12 years old got
a makeover to complete the new look.

I am absolutely loving the warm beach colors. It is gorgeous. You have inspired me about something I've been struggling with. I am redoing my bathroom decor and couldn't decide on a color scheme. I like my rugs to have matching commode seat covers and toppers. You can get the seat covers but I can never find anywhere that carries tank toppers so I have been folding a pretty towel on the back of the tank. My sister suggested new commode seats in wood to match the cabinet. But we couldn't figure out what to go on the back of the commode. I noticed your in your pic that you have an awesome basket. THERE is the answer to my problem. Thanks for sharing these great ideas.

Linda,
Your bath makeover looks great! I like the sink and I just redid my bath and put the exact same faucet in it this summer. Your ASCP color looks great on the cabinet! Thank you for linking it to Home Sweet Home!

I really like the warmth of the colors you used in the room. My main bathroom is small, so I can relate to the challenges. You really did a great job. The great transformer - paint and creativity.

You did a great job on the bathroom and I love the sink but would not want it because it look like it would spill its contents a bit too easy. But it sure is pretty and I just love the look of the whole bathroom.

Gives me lots of hope because we are waiting to hear if our bid on a FIX-ER-UPPER is going to be accepted. If it is I have a two bathrooms to completely gut and redo. I love yours and just may copy the look all but the sink. Thanks.

The colors are quite nice. I think it blends in well with the image of a beach condos; sandy beaches, with a relaxing feel. It's a great visual to have in the bathroom, but I think you can apply the same color style to some of the other rooms in that place.
