Most of y'all know how THRIFTY I am, so I know it's no surprise to find out that I have made a $2.00 summer wreath for my backdoor. I found the grapevine wreath for a $1.00 at a friends garage sale (it was more like a quaint little gift shop, than a garage sale). Oh yes, I bought a car load of goodies from her. Then a few weeks ago at a neighborhood sale, I found these cute veggies for $1.00, so a summer wreath was born! My weekly Nifty Thrifty Tuesday party is still going on, so if you have not joined in, click here with your thrifty post.
Happy that you came by,
Linda

Cute! I did that with a cheap wreath too- I spray painted a wreath forest green, then added fake olives and lemons, with a yellow streamer ribbon= french country!
This wreath is fabulous ... & so realistic. Love it!
Have a great eve ~

So pretty and summery! I'm working on a veggie tablescape and just can't seem to find everything I need, hoping some yard sales this weekend will help me out! :)
Have a wonderful evening!

Love that wreath. And that is my kind of price! :)
That squash makes my mouth water. I have blooms but no babies. haha What is your fave way for making squash? I love a squash casserole but I gotta admit, my fave way is squash with lots of onions, cooked down in chicken stock in an iron skillet until liquid is cooked out, then leave in skillet to brown up a bit with some bacon drippings. (I;m Southern, I have to add bacon drippings) haha Love this post.
Linda I am really never surprised by the great projects you create!! I love the new wreath ( and the price)

Oh I think that's one pretty wreath,
and with just $2, you should be proud.
Cute wreath, Linda! I thought the tomatoes were real. There is nothing better than home grown tomatoes. Thanks for linking to the Open House party.

Perfect summer wreath! Love it. You were lucky to get first dibs on your friend's sale. Those are the best kind.
Your vegetables are beautiful.. thus your wreath is beautiful. So Nice.

You fooled me with this one! I was thinking the same thing as on of the other commenters, how is this going to last? Such a cute idea and perfect for a back door.

I have my 1st giveaway on my blog and would like you to enter it
Cool wreath, Linda. Yes, I thought the veggies were real at first. I wondered how long they would last. LOL
That wreath is adorable and the price was right! I've got some containers going with jalapenos, poblanos (this is FL and peppers love the heat!) and a single tomato plant that has some green guys on it already. Can't wait!
Absolutely adorable! I would never have thought to put veggies on a wreath, but then again I'm not Mrs. Creativity, either. It turned out so good.
What a super cute idea. I loooooove this wreath.

Perfect and you certainly can't beat the price! Wow -- I don't even have my garden tilled yet for planting but then again, it's just now warmed up into the 70's here!
Well Linda, we are on the same wave length this week! Both of us did thrifty grapvine wreaths. I love yours! What an awesome find in those faux veggies. It is hard to find such nice quality faux veggies without spending and arm and a leg! You did great! Thank you for sharing this with us this week at TTF. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I have a wreath on my garden shed and couldn't decide how to trim it out. Since it's just behind my veggie garden, this is perfect. Thank you for the inspiration. I'm pinning so I don't forget who gave me the idea! ~ Maureen
This wreath is adorable. I'm now on the lookout for fake veggies!
Linda I love your wreath! It turned out super cute! Thanx for joining my party!
I included your wreath with my red featured finds for tomorrow. It's just sooo cute!
