Well, here it is, minus curtains! If, I waited until I got the curtains made to share this room with y'all, it just might be 2013 (just kidding), but it will be a few more weeks. I did make some kitchen curtains this week, they were for Haley. You know, we always put our children first. I will say, those curtains were way overdue. I'm really behind on DIY projects because Coastal Charm Interiors is keeping me so busy. I still need to paint my huge chalkboard in my kitchen, that shade of green just doesn't work anymore. I also need to buy new seat cushions for my kitchen chairs and bar stools(they also need a new paint job) , so when I get more things done, I will come back with part 2 of the reveal.
Thanks for coming by y'all,
Linda
Here it is...PART 1
The new wall color is Valspar-
Coastal Villa...I'm happy
with it and that makes
Mr. CC VERY HAPPY!!
A different way to display
some of my white ironstone.
This is where my huge chalkboard will
be going, after she gets a new color.
The frame with pic will be moved to
another wall in the kitchen.
Rusty old scale...$12 treasure.
Mr.CC's old wooden apple basket.
I'm still not sure what color that I will
paint my bar stools...any ideas?
Looking forward to trying out some recipes
from my new cookbook.
A few vintage goodies!
My new tiny side table...isn't
she a cutie?
Come to my NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAY
PARTY this week and find out what an awesome
deal that I got on some of my ironstone dishes that
you see here.
Come join me at some fun parties...

Wow Linda! you have so many different and interesting objects in your kitchen. I do love your wall color...perfect. Your granite is a great color and pattern too (you may have already have had that). Thanks for sharing those great pictures.
Linda,
The kitchen looks great! Love the color you chose. Your granite looks like mine in my kitchen and baths. Love your basket of vintage goodness!
Hugs,
Donna
WOW!!!
Your kitchen looks awesome!!!!
Love the paint color! Your kitchen looks wonderful! I like the pop of color in your bar stools, so if you change the color pick one that pops! Glad your booth is keeping you so busy, I don't know how I missed it, but I did not know you were opening another one! Oh, man that will keep you busy. I have just the one booth and I am trying to get stuff ready for for the Fancy Flea I am doing in april, I feel like I am treading water!
Carol
Well, your kitchen looks amazing. I have to tell you right off, that my favorite thing is that gorgeous floor!
D
It looks so YOU!! Just wonderful! This is the kind of post that once I have commented - then I go back and look at each photo -one by one - to see what I missed at first glance!
Your kitchen looks fabulous, Linda! Terrific wall color. It really pops the white! Redoing you kitchen and a new booth, what vitamins are you taking? Can you come do mine?
Looks wonderful! I'm going to be doing a kitchen makeover in the new few months and I'm just soaking up ideas. I really love the way you painted the hutch white. I'm kinda scared to paint mine as it belongs to my mom and it's natural dark wood, but I hate dark wood. thanks for the inspiration :)
Linda your kitchen looks FABULOUS! Love the new wall color and love love your brick floor!
Gorgeous. I need a place for chalk board too. It makes a kitchen very homey.
Linda, your kitchen looks amazing! I love the new wall color and the way you have incorporated all your wonderful treasures.
Fabulous! I love all the treasures displayed and the vintage furniture. I could be very happy here....!
Love your new kitchen, I would paint the bar stools chocolate, would match your chair coverings.
Love it all, but I must sat that I am totally loving how you hung that picture of your daughter on her wedding day...may need to steel that idea!!
xo, Mariaelena
I love your kitchen Linda! The colors, your little table and floor....soooo pretty!
Linda, your kitchen is awesome! I love your collection of stoneware.
Linda!!! I love your kitchen! Love the new color especially. I am painting my trim a grey color. Love all your vintage items too.
What curtains? : ) I was too busy drowning in that great color and all your pieces, Linda! I think it looks great! I love your vignettes and a chalkboard will look perfect over that console. I'm looking forward to seeing that! That orange/red color you have accented around ~ how about that for the stools with maybe a little distressing and dark wax so it's not too bright.
Love your kitchen! Great idea for the grate (haha!) I would paint your bar stools in the two colours that are on your walls - say the seat and crossed bars in the creamy white and the frame and legs in the Coastal Villa. I'm so in love with two-tone these days :)
Beautiful job!!
Everything looks beautiful. I love all your scales, they look great mixed in with the neutral colors. Thanks for sharing!!
it looks awesome, linda! i love the color palette!
So beautiful! I love the floors! I love all the details in your arrangements! I see those stools a dark brown. Maybe pull a brown color from your granite. Love the gray walls! I've been trying to figure out how to use dark brown and gray together in my own home. YOU are such an inspiration.
Sherry's Bees Nest
Oh, how pretty! What a great kitchen! I love all your antiques and you have great ideas!
Linda, you did such an amazing job with your kitchen!! I love it all!! Can't wait to see the rest in Part 2! Enjoy it!!
I love your kitchen! The new wall color its just perfect! and those floors are to dye for!
Linda you changes are awesome. I love how warm and friendly your kitchen is! That cute little table is adorable and oh my all the touches make me smile. Hugs, Linda
Your kitchen looks wonderful!
I agree with Kathy on painting the chairs an orange/red color, it will make them pop and go so well with the other accents of the same color in the room. I really love the two plates hanging above them.
Hi Linda! Oh, your kitchen looks gorgeous! I love it all and your new wall color is so pretty! Love your pretty granite too. I've had mine maybe a couple of years and just love it. Love all of your sweet vignettes too! Oh, I'm just thrilled for you.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
WOW! It is SO PRETTY and FRESH! I LOVE the mix of new and vintage and the colors are just awesome, as well! Makes me want to redo mine as well! AWESOME JOB!!!!
Your kitchen is great, Linda! My favourite parts are the gorgeous white cupboard full of ironstone, the different tables and of course Mr. CC's apple basket. Thanks for sharing.

I like it all, particularly the way you hung the ironstone. I concur with someone else who said chocolate on the bar stools unless that isn't a bright enough pop for you, then maybe yellow? Red? I'm the worst at the color thing. Chocolate. Can't go wrong with that.
~Bliss~
It is just gorgeous Linda! That new color is so beautiful and soft and I love all of your accent details. Thank you in advance for sharing it at Inspiration Friday! :-)
Vanessa
Hi Linda! Love your kitchen, it looks so good. You really incorporated so many fun and interesting elements. LOVE the apple basket, and I love the way you hung the iron stone. On the stools, how about a pop of red? And then heavily distress them.
I love the new color! Everything looks great. I love all you antique pieces and your new little table! Great job.
Debbie
It looks great!! I love the wall color. I'm going to file that one away in case I ever need it... I was kind of thinking a black for the stools- either chalk paint'ish or the other extreme - a high gloss black. I also like the chocolate idea someone else suggested - always a hit!
totally fabulous, Linda LOVE that wall color. I'm taking note, cause that's about what I want for my master bedroom! Really pretty!!
All of your little touches made this kitchen look so good, Linda!!! How about pulling the darker color out of your granite tops to use as your bar stool color? Maybe even as the color of your new chalkboard.... I made my own chalk paint last week and it turned out great. I left a nice note for the husband to please not ball up his socks when he puts them in the hamper! LOL
How about a nice shabby barn red for your bar stools? A pop of colour that you already have some accents in? I love your redo...it's beautiful! Such clean lines, but with coziness added in...great job!
xo wendy
Linda your kitchen is gorgeous!! You did an amazing job with everything and I love your hutch/cabinet! Such a great space.
xoxo
Everything looks so great! You did a great job. I like the color the bar stools are they pop out from everything else. If not the green then I would do a reddish brown or black. Still I like the green.
Your kitchen is gorgeous! I am always envious of big kitchens as my city size kitchen is the size of a closet. Your vintage accent pieces are so pretty. I agree with all thse that voted for a pop of red for your counter stools.
Your kitchen looks wonderful, just like I knew it would. I really like the wall color...it looks like the other colors just pop off of it. Everything is styled so nicely as well... Great Job!
Love the wall color! You have so many sweet vintage vignettes scattered throughout the room.
I love Mr. C.C.'s apple basket!!
Cozy, Comfy,and totally Coastal Charming!!
Rhonda
Looks so cozy...
And I love your new wall color.
You have so many amazing things displayed in there. love it ♥
Your kitchen is JUST fabulous! I love everything that you did. The way that you displayed your ironstone is so clever.
I love the color and all the fun details. They really make it feel personal and cozy!
-Shelley
Linda, what if you painted your stools the same color as your tiny little table? It looks so great with your wall color. I love all your accessories. You are so good at displaying your things.
Lovely, Linda...I love the colors you have chosen...gives such a wonderful feeling to the space! I love the lighting and all of your special goodies!
Gorgeous Linda! I love the relaxed feeling and the beautiful colors. This project would be perfect for our linky party featuring "Transformations" called Repurpose-Remodel-Reveal, I know our readers would love to see it too! (It starts Friday, March 2nd 2012 at 7:00 am MST and reoccures every 1st and 3rd Friday)

Such cool vignettes. I would love to shop your house! LOL
Just imagine if that bank of upper cabinets were gone, how much it would open up the space!
The kitchen is beautiful! Your attention to detail really shows! I love the cupboard with all of the ironstone and how you've displayed the two ironstone plates on the grate. Great job!!
Jane
Thanks Terry for the comment about removing those cabinets...Mr.CC and I just don'r agree on that subject...I want them GONE...like years ago!!
Blessings,
Linda
love the wall color and you accessories -
as far as the chairs - personally - i would do them to match the cream/ivory of the trip but you have a good bit of orange accents in that room - that might be a brighter more vibrant thought -
Thank you so much for sharing -
I must get this fixed so i do not have to post as
anonymous! Sorry
idea for bar stools : tangerine tango; aka orange red. :-)
great kitchen! congrads!
It's now a piece of art! Thank you for sharing your creativity at Potpourri Friday at 2805!
Hi Linda, I always enjoy coming to see what you have been doing. I like your cooktop. Oh lets face it, I love your whole kitchen. I will wait patiently for the curtains, but I love what I see already. Have a great weekend. A Missouri Friend.
Great color! Picking wall paint is the hardest thing for me. So many colors and it the light in the paint store vs home is so different. Nice job. Awe I loved your green blackboard!
Benita
Linda, fabulous job! I love all of your vintages pieces.
Linda

Hi Linda, Your home is beautiful! I love the brick floors and all your beautiful vignettes. I would love to go shopping in your home. xo, Sherry
Your kitchen looks fabulous, Linda. Betcha love going in there to cook and gaze! Well done! Bar stools....hmmmm.....I like the chocolate that several mentioned, but also like a creamy white. Linda
Um can we be friends? I love your kitchen, and in the post I spied two of my favorite books- Ann Voskamp's book and the Pioneer Woman cookbook. I think we'd get along great! :)
Wow again! I noticed that was a popular word here. Your kitchen is so pretty! Love the brick floors and the wall color. A match made in heaven! And all of your vintage goodies add that special touch.
Hi Linda! I do like your new cute little table, and the new wall color too. Valspar paints are great, aren't they? I also like the green on your barstools, but I know how it is--once you get the idea to change you have to do it! Try draping some towels in different colors over them to see how the colors work. Can't wait to see what you do! Linda
Beautiful. Love the new color and all of your accessories are just beautiful. Everything looks amazing. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
I love your kitchen and all of your fabulous accessories! I love that style and wish that it fit in my home. I think that beautiful turquoisey blue would be great for your chairs!
XO Cindy
Oh I adore your perfect country kitchen.
I hope you'll stop by my blog. I am hosting a giveaway for a $50 Kirklands gift card.
LOVE the color. Your Kitchen is fabulous! :)
~Liz
I love the way you displayed you white dishes.
What are the hanging from? Looks interesting.
Love all your vintage items. Your kitchen is lovely, & I think we have very similar granite. You are going to love The Pioneer Woman cookbook!
CAS
I love all the little (and big) touches. What do you call the thing that your ironstone plates are hanging on? It looks like some sort of grate.

I love all of it. Love the ironstone in the white hutch! Wow. It looks amazing. You did such a good job putting everything together. I love it. You always do the greatest posts.
blessings,
Debbie
Wow Linda, I love, Love, LOVE your kitchen!!!! The wall color is gorgeous! I love your floor and all your vintage goodies!!! I can't wait to see what curtains you make! I'm not sure about the stools..... I was thinking either black or dark gray? not sure, i might have to look some more! :)
Kristi
BEAUTIFUL Linda! I love it! That color is great and I love your floors! The little side table is the perfect size....LOVE IT!
Lou Cinda :)
Your kitchen is beautiful. Color looks similar to Grant Beige (Benj. Moore) which I used in my living areas. I would go with a matte black on the barstools or french linen in the annie sloan chalk paint.
I saw the picture of the table where you said you will be hanging your chalkboard. My daughter is fixing up her little San Francisco apartment and did a similar vignette. She wants her dad to do a huge painting for her for the spot, but you gave me the idea for her to paint a chalkboard on the wall for now. Thanks!
Gorgeous... love the details. About the bar stools.. how about a reddish shade of orange. I see the pop of one such color in some of the pictures above.
What a fantastic kitchen. It looks super functional without looking industrial or sterile. The counter tops are amazing. Great job!

Your kitchen is beautiful and I adore all of your antiques! The other day I picked up a paint chip of Valspar's Coastal Villa and wasn't sure about it because it looked dark but on your walls it doesn't look that dark. Have you thought about painting your bar stools red for a pop of color?
Love your Pictures and Stories ~ Great Blog thanks !
I love your makeover and your kitchen, I want to replace my worktops with a similar granite to yours.
With regards to your bar stools, I think picking out a dark colour from the granite, maybe a very dark grey or slate colour would look great. It's hard for me to see the wall colour but I think they would look stunning. Maybe because they have that crossed back you could even do a little sanding of the edges to give a French distressed look to them and show some of the original wood.
Thank you for sharing such a lovely room.
Lee :)
Love the color and how it changes and softens the look of your kitchen, offering such a wonderful backdrop to your amazing things! I'm visualizing a yummy burnt orange or nutmeg for those barstools! When I think Kitchen, I think of what's appetizing. ;)
I love your kitchen! Where did you find the flooring? I would love to use it for my entryway.
