Chalk It Up

I've been a busy bee just lately making chalkboards for my shop and it looks like I will continue this trend. I'm having a lot of luck with them, they sell as fast as I can make them...now that's a good thing. I'm trying to have a good variety of them...small...medium...extra large and even some window chalkboards. Yes...I'm taking old windows and adding some unique items to them for some one of a kind chalkboards. My first one went to my daughter and SIL as a Christmas gift...now let's take a look at what it looked like. Looking forward to making more of these next week, so please be sure to check back in to see what I do with them.
                                  Happy to have you here,
                                                Linda
                                  Hope they enjoy writing
                                each other sweet messages!
A little rusty hardware and a

                                            CHARM!!!!!

Adorable! I'm sure they will love it, Linda. Would you mind sharing your chalkboard paint brand and brush vs. roller? I'll look to see if I can find the same brand here. Also, if you have a moment and don't mind, do you paint right over the glass? I've sort of missed the whole chalkboard boat and would love to try one.

Linda, the burlap knob is darling and writing with chalk is somehow soothing to me. Does it take us back to our childhood but without returning to school? Have a Happy New Year. Olive

I love chalkboards, too, Linda. I'm just running out of places to put them. I've got a great frame that I wanted to make into a chalkboard, but I'm still thinking on where I would hang it if I did.

Linda I want to make a chalkboard for my desk area. I am so behind the curve,,,Can you spray it on glass, canvas, mirror etc. Any kind of priming? Any material NOT to paint it on? I just want to do it right the first time!
