It's Almost That Time

Yes...it's almost that time of year, that Mr.CC gets up in the attic and brings down all my totes full of Christmas decor. I am sooooo excited, that I will be decorating a tad bit early this year, and that means more time to enjoy all the beauty of Christmas. Now, I better not get to excited, first, this ole gal gotta get this house in tip top condition. So, the next few days, I will be cleaning everything in site, oh boy! I have decided to not put up my vintage tree this year, and instead, just use my vintage ornaments throughout my home. My plan is, to cut back a tad this year, I sure hope I can do it, only time will tell. I really love for my home to be full Christmas cheer, but cutting back just a little, will really help me have more time to spend on my business. My business, Coastal Charm Interiors, really keeps me busy, and especially at this time of the year. Well, I better go, and get to all the cleaning. If you don't hear from me in the next few days, you know what I'm doing. For all my new followers, here are a few Christmas pics from the past.
                                             Blessings,
                                               Linda

So exciting! I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving but it's all going up this weekend. And funny story - two years ago when my Husband was in the attic taking our things down he missed a beam and his foot came right through the ceiling. We laugh about it now but it scared the stink out of us BOTH at the time!
Happy decorating!!

I didn't put up a tree last year and when the grandbabies came to visit the youngest said to me, "But Granny you have to have a tree otherwise Santa won't know where to put the presents". It didn't matter to her that presents were stacked up for them all to open, nope. And I was also informed that grandmothers are always supposed to always have cookies. I only get to see them once a year at Christmas so no mistakes this year, lol. Happy Thanksgiving.

I hear ya, my Shiney Brites will be in bowls and baskets this year. I'm trying to do a scaled back version myself!

Oh have fun Linda! Putting up the decorations is so much better than taking them down. I know it will all be lovely. And don't you agree that December really needs to be a longer month!

Could Mr CC stop buy and crawl up in my attic? I have actually thought about skipping Christmas this year...We will see how I feel after the wedding.

I love the white santas. Have fun decorating. I lost so much of my Christmas decorations when a big typhoon hit Guam back in December 2001. Much of the island didn't have power for that holiday season.

We started putting ours up this weekend, too. Since this is my mom's last Christmas before going into a retirement apartment, we wanted to make sure it is all extra special.

Linda,

I love those ornaments, but my favorite is the tree hanging on the house. :)

There is noticeably a bundle to know about this. I assume you made certain nice points in features also.
