Nifty Thrifty Tuesday No.189

Well y'all, it's finally thanksgiving week, and some of us are busy cooking that big bird, and some of us are busy decorating our homes for Christmas. Here at Coastal Charm, Mr.CC is brining the bird, and I am busy decking the halls. Today, I got three trees decorated, and tomorrow I hope to get most of my vignettes done. If, I only did a few vignettes, then that would be easy as pie, but oh no, I do way too many. With this nagging cold, that number just might go down this year. It's kinda hard to get creative, when you feel bad, and I am already behind schedule. So, the theme for 2013 could be...LESS IS MORE!!! I guess, time will only tell. One thing for sure, I am only using what I already have. Yes, you heard that right, I have not purchased one new thing, not even a roll of ribbon (now that is really good for me). I hope y'all are ready to share some NIFTY THRIFTY ideas here today, so we can all get inspired, and maybe even meet some new friends at the same time. Thanks so much for coming by, to party with me at NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAY!
                                              Blessings,
                                                 Linda

Your shop looks amazing! What a trove of Christmas eye candy. I can only imagine that everything must be flying out of there. The tree is gorgeous...and the vintage art with the snowman and girls is the sweetest thing ever. Thanks for sharing your weekend getaway, too. I had no idea that AL had such beauty and lovely lakes.

Wishing you and yours a most Blessed Thanksgiving!!

I love that you are not buying anything new. Me either except what I can buy recycled from the thrift store. It benefits a good cause.
I hope you feel better soon! What a terrible time to have a cold. Thanks for hosting even though you are a little under the weather.

I'm decorating with things I already have, too. We always use decorations we've acquired over the years, plus a few new things each year. Sometimes I think it would be fun to do something different, but then we wouldn't have all the wonderful memories the old ornaments remind us of. Thanks so much for hosting.
