Sports...Spring Formal...Beach...etc.

We left our house early Thursday morning going to Atlanta to buy a new car for Mr.CC and after two days looking at cars...we FINALLY made a purchase late Friday afternoon! This was not the beginning of our search for a car...we have been looking for about three weeks and believe me...it has been a ordeal...Mr.CC hates buying cars and after this search...I hope it's a long time before we buy another one! Next stop was Turner Field to catch a BRAVES game with our daughter and her boyfriend.I have not been to a Braves game since she was in the fifth grade...boy... time sure does FLY! Great game...the Braves won 11-4 and the weather was just perfect for a FUN night at the BALLPARK!

Saturday morning we left the hotel and headed over to AUBURN to watch our TIGERS play their Spring A-Day game...yes...we even LOVE AUBURN FOOTBALL in the SPRING! Well I can say that I have not been to a A-DAY game since I was a student there...now that was a loooooong time ago! It was a lot of fun watching our team play and spending time with our AUBURN FAMILY...all 63,200 of them:) Before the game we went to the tailgate that Mary Claire's sorority had for the parents. It sure was nice having the girls do all the work and all we had to do was to show up...they did an awesome job!

Late afternoon was spent playing photographers for Mary Claire and her sorority sisters...they still need us...ha ha! They had thier Spring Formal last night in Atlanta at the World of Coke...this was the first time that they had rented the building to a sorority for a dance...I sure hope our group didn't make it the last time a sorority had a chance to use this FUN place for a night of dancing!

We arrived late last night at our condo for two days of relaxing at the BEACH! I think we both really need this after that loooong car search. Hope you are all having a FUN Spring weekend!

Mary Claire looks beautiful in her gown. I love that color.
We didn't make the game, but came in for the walk through at the new Auburn Arena. It is incredible, but I sort of miss the old one.
I am looking forward to basketballs games in comfort though!

Your daughter is beautiful! Glad you had such a fun weekend. Loved seeing all your pictures. I know your hubby is glad he finally got his new car. I am heading to Atlanta this week with both of my daughters to attend the Beth Moore conference on Saturday. Friday we are going to see the Lady Diana exhibit. Your daughter is an AOII too? Jennifer was in AOII at Birmingham-Southern! Beautiful daughter :)
My Amber loved the Braves and we visited Turner Field on a regular basis! Several years ago Amber was invited to be a guest of the Braves and met so many players, including Chipper Jones (her favorite) in their clubhouse. So many memories!
Have fun at the beach!
Blessings,
Donna
