Nifty Thrifty Tuesday No.197

Here on the Alabama gulf coast, we love our beautiful white sand and this week the sand will be covered in snow. Yes, you read that correctly, the weather forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is calling for ice and snow here on the coast. This winter storm is going to be hugging the coastline, so watch out all you snowbirds, the snow has followed you down here. We don't get much in the way of ice and snow, so our schools and some businesses will be closed. Now, we can handle a hurricane, but give us a winter storm, and we are all thumbs. Please y'all, say a prayer that this storm will be just snow and no ice. I guess you all know what I will be doing during the storm...PAINTING UP A STORM (ha ha)!!! I started painting on Saturday, and by the time this storm passes, I should have about a dozen pieces of furniture ready to deliver to Coastal Charm Interiors on Thursday. I have some wonderful features to share with you this week, so please take time to check them out.
                                                      Blessings,
                                                        Linda

Even a seasoned Minnesotan like myself hates the ice storms...so dangerous! Stay inside and safe! It's so cold here that I am inside painting, too! Thanks so much for hosting the party, Linda, and for the nice feature!

Linda, we too, are expecting the ice and snow here on the eastern coast. So weird for the south to get this kind of weather. They have already closed the schools for a couple of days and some businesses have called off employees. Stay safe and warm and have a great week... Cathy

Wow, you sure know how to hold a party...So many great links and such a great variety! Wow, stay warm. The weatherman last night said in all of his 25 years he has never seen storm warning so far south...And we were 85 today in Orlando...How weird is that!
