Linda,
Such a heartfelt reminder of exactly why we celebrate Easter. So many times we get caught up in the activities that we tend to forget about our Christ.
Beautiful, thank you.
Jemma
perfect.
That was one of the first songs I learned to play on the piano. Your cross is beautiful. I love that you are witnessing to your neighbors.
Linda,
I LOVE your cross! I know the song well :)
I know one day I am going to meet Christ and see my beautiful Amber :)
Happy Easter!
Hugs

Oh, I love it too! Such a wonderful message for all to see.
Such a picture of Love and Hope for us. Thanks for posting. I'm gonna see if I can get my hubby to make me one too. Thanks for the idea.
What beautiful words here, Linda. I need to make one of those crosses (and there's something so touching about that cloth you draped over it). Our Lord conquered the grave, and one day every knee shall bow. I also like the song "Old Rugged Cross." Great post.
XOXO,
Meredith
What a wonderful man your husband is, you ask and you shall receive! I love your cross, and the 'shroud' you have draped over it. Totally showing the meaning of Easter. And it is a beautiful song...
Debbie :)
Your cross turned out beautifully, and I too love The Old Rugged Cross!
Our church is passing the crosses out to members with a purple cloth, black cloth for Good Friday and a White cloth for Easter. I'm glad they are popping up all over town!
That was my beloved grandmother's favorite song so it holds a special place in my heart as well. I love that your cross is rustic!! Have a blessed Easter!!
Lovely. I try to photograph them at churches, at Easter, especially when draped in purple.
It's perfect Linda and I love the fabric you draped over it. I remember my mom singing The Old Rugged Cross when I was young. It brings back so many good memories.
Hi Linda,
I love that old hymn and your cross speaks volumes. LOVE it; what a lovely idea! Thanks for sharing the Good News and have a beautiful Easter weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Wonderful reminder to celebrate the resurrection...the reason we have Easter!

Linda, what a beautiful cross. The Old Rugged Cross is a wonderful hymn. I grew up singing it.That old rugged cross is a bitter sweet testimony of His love for us. Have a wonderful Easter. Love Wanda
Oh how I love that old rugged cross! So thankful!!!
Blessings,
Cindy
I love that SONG . now I am humming it along as I type.. Thanks for the reminder and memory that came rushing back .. GOD bless and Happy Easter
Love that song, and I love your cross! Hope you have a very blessed Easter! :)
Perfect!! Happy Easter!
What a wonderful reminder to everyone about why we celebrate Easter. Leo sings in our church's choir and they sang "The Old Rugged Cross" last evening at our service. Leo was very emotional because that was his father's favorite hymn. I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter!
Mr. CC did a wonderful job on the cross.
I will cling to the old rugged cross and exchange it someday for a crown
Happy Easter - He is Risen!!!
Rhonda
What a beautiful reminder of the Lord's amazing love for us! I'm so grateful to Him for what He accomplished at the cross! Happy Easter!
I love the cross, well I love yours too, but I mean the real one!!
Love this Linda! Perfect for Easter!
Sherry
