Upon Further Review...We Won That Crazy Game...Three Times!

Where do I start? Our trip to Tampa to watch our AUBURN TIGERS play in the Outback Bowl was...AWESOME!!!! We left on Tuesday morning and returned home on Saturday at 11:30 p.m., we were soooo tried and happy to be home...there's no place like HOME! I will do several posts about things we did while we were there...be ready...I have some great stuff to share with you!

It was soooo much fun meeting lots of new people...you see...the Auburn Family is a FRIENDLY FAMILY...we love to get to know every member of our awesome family. Beach Day at Clearwater Beach was a blast...it was 78 and sunny...my kind of weather! We went over to Ybor City on New Years Eve for the parade...saw some friends from Tampa and Atlanta...that was nice...the parade and pep rally was lots of FUN...it's really great when the other teams fans are so nice...Northwestern fans rock! We did not make it to midnight to ring in the new year...we were getting up at 5:30 a.m. to get ready for the game...this "OLD" girl needs lots of sleep! We made it to the stadium in time to see "TIGER WALK"...front row view...thank you guys for an AWESOME year...can't wait until September 4! The game was sooooo exciting...I like them like this. It rained off and on during the entire first three quarters...my shoes and socks were soaked and it was COLD! We sat on the 50 yard line in the upper deck...then early in the 4th a friend called and said come on down...he had two seats next to him on the 7th row and on the 50 yard line...I could not get there soon enough...the cold wind was not as bad there. The game went into overtime and we WON it by 3 points...it was a crazy end...hope we never see another one like this again! Hope all of you had a GREAT New Years...looking forward to a wonderful year getting to know all of you better.

Beautiful day at Clearwater Beach...Sunny and 78!

AUBIE...having fun at the beach!

Having an AWESOME day with my favorite AUBURN TIGER!

What a great way to end the day!

Outback Bowl Parade in Ybor City...had a great time with our AUBURN FAMILY...It's GREAT to be an AUBURN TIGER!

Gameday...8:00a.m. 1/1/2010...What a early start for this "OLD" Tiger Fan!

We were up in the clouds for the first three quarters.

4th quarter...7th row on the 50 yard line with some friends!

This game goes down in the history books for a "WILD" one...if you didn't see it...you sure did miss a great one...as our coach said...everybody sure did get their monies worth with this one...also loved another one of his comments...he had never went into a game with 7 wins and came out with 10 wins!!!

Why do some people look good after seating in the rain for hours and others look awful? I look like a worn out COLD WET DOG at the end...and I was!!!!

Looks like you had a great time and some good weather. I am not a great football fan but hubby is. Oh to get away from the snow....My boss just left for his winter away in Florida. I did not even ask what the temp was this morning when he checked in. I guess I am being a little bit of a scrooge.

Looks like a fabulous time! And 78 degrees...I can't tell you how jealous I am of the warm temps! I'm glad your team won. You are a true fan when you are already looking forward to September for the next season :-)

What a fun trip! You still looked lovely in the rain :)
Wish it was 78 here. I am looking forward to warm balmy temps when I head to central america at the end of this month. The temp there (Nicaragua) was in the 80's this past week

We'll be babysitting this week thru Sat. night so I won't be blogging as much but looks like ya'll had a great time.

How exciting! I think it always much more fun to have a close game than one that is one-sided! And truly, you both looked so happy even after being rained on and freezing! Welcome home and Happy New Year!! Judi
