My Mother

Three weeks ago my precious mother went to her heavenly home and my life here on this earth, has changed forever.
My sweet mother was blessed to have a long life of 89 years and was in good health and living alone. She was a very independent person and had a social life busier than mine. She lived her life serving our Lord daily. Here is part of what my daughter Mary Claire had to say about her grandmother  at her funeral...Matthew 22: 37-39 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind". This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself". Juanita did just that, she loved the Lord with all she had and she loved others unconditionally.
                                                                          Blessings,
                                                                              Linda

Linda I am so very sorry that your beloved Mother has passed. I still talk to my Dad and Mom and they have been gone for several years. It is like sending them prayers. It gives me some comfort but I do always miss them, their visits, caring for them, doing what I could to make their final years go the way they wanted them too. I sometimes feel my Dad's presence briefly now and again. Hugs. Prayers for you and your family.

Oh, Linda, I am so terribly sorry you lost your mother.

May you be blessed with peace knowing she is with our Lord.

I lost my own mother over 20 years ago. She was only 59. The empty feeling won't go away, but the tears will slow down in time.

The upcoming holidays will be so difficult for you. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care, may God comfort you every step of the way.

I know the holidays are going to be difficult this year Linda, but you can count your blessings of having her with you for so long and now you have sweet Sadie. I know you will be grateful for so many things this Thanksgiving,

Linda, I'm so sorry. My Dad passed away this summer and we never really know how much our lives change. May all the good times and memories of your beautiful Mom help you on the toughest days. May the love of family and friends help you in your grief. (hugs) ox

Dear Linda,
I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your Mother lived a very active and rewarding life and loved the Lord. My late grandmother lived by the same principles and she served the Lord and loved others unconditionally as well. Even a few of her neighbors who were not the most neighborly in their day she would go years later and visit them in nursing homes.

I lost my Mother in law this past May at age 85 and while we miss her very much her health had declined over the past three years considerably as well as her quality of life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
