Changing It Up and A Giveaway
After the holidays were over, it was then time for some changes...so here I go pulling out some old things and adding a couple of new ones. Winter is my least favorite time of the year and the toughest one for me to decorate my nest...is this true for you too? With this being said, I get to work trying to make the best of it and at the same time...counting the days down until SPRING arrives here on the coast. Come along with me as I share a little bit of what I have done so far. All We Did Was...WIN WIN WIN
That's right...all we did was WIN WIN WIN and now we are the 2010 National Football Champions!!! You all should know where you could have found me yesterday...if you thought I was in Jordan Hare Stadium celebrating with my Auburn family...you are sooooo right...was there with my favorite Auburn tiger...Mr.CC and what an AUsome day it was! A freezing COLD Winter day didn't stop 78,000 of us celebrating our 14-0 season together, because we are FAMILY and that's what families do. I was prepared for the temps...had layers and layers of clothing on and even put hot packs in my shoes to keep my toes cozy...wasn't going to let the COLD temps keep me from enjoying this wonderful CELEBRATION. When I had to pick a college to attend back 35 years ago, I never thought it would be AUBURN UNIVERSITY. After spending a weekend there and checking the school out...then I knew I had found my second HOME! Auburn is such a warm and friendly place...everyone welcomes you with open arms...the Auburn SPIRIT is unreal...so unreal that yesterday I found myself in tears at our CELEBRATION...as we said this year...AU FAMILY ALL IN and we are ALL IN FOREVER! All Finished
The paint brushes and rollers are all cleaned up and I'm seating here on my bed and taking it on all. Can you really be IN LOVE with a paint color? Well...I am! When I saw this color last summer in one of my daughters roommates bedroom...I just knew I had to paint a room this color...so who was going to get a new paint job...answer...my bedroom at the BEACH and if I say so myself...this was a great choice. Wanna know what the color is? It's Laura Ashley-Summer Field...it makes me think of a pear when I see it and I don't even like pears, but I do like their color! Now Lindy was the only one that picked the color GREEN...congrats girl! Some of you said you thought it was going to be a sand color and some thought it might be chocolate...great choices, but those colors are already here. I moved just about everything around...nightstands...lamps...mirrors...wall art, but the bed stayed put and ready for a good nights sleep! Come along with me and take a look at my new SEASIDE ROOM!

Working Seaside
Hello ladies...coming to you from the beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama beaches...if you gotta work...what an awesome place to do it at. Mr.CC and I are here at the condo painting a bedroom...any guesses on what color is going up on the walls? I love guessing games, so this should be lots of FUN! I better make this short and sweet because Mr.CC will be after me...can you believe it...that man really likes the way I paint. I hope to be back tomorrow to show you the finished walls.

time to move on!
Want to hear a funny little story? I guess it was about 20 years ago...my siblings
and I were painting the inside of our parents home and silly me sat down on a
very HOT light bulb (just like the one you see here)...and I burned my BUNS!!
You see...I was wearing some really short shorts...don't worry ladies...I will
not be wearing anything similar to short shorts tonight...since I'm up 40lbs...sweat
pants look much better! I will say...I was in a very small closet and didn't have
much room to work in, but my family hasn't let me live this one down!
This has been here for seven years too...I do think
it's a keeper!
