As I was painting and glazing my end tables the other day, I found a planter with some fake grass that was in really bad need of some TLC...had my paintbrush with glaze in hand...so guess what?...she got a glazing makeover! The planter was white and I planned on painting it a coco brown color, but I decided to see how she would look with a little glazing and to my surprise...she looked really GOOD!!!! My goodness...this stuff is just way cool...yes you can call me A GLAZING FOOL!!!! Hope all of y'all have a wonderful weekend...I will be cleaning up our home office and maybe I will get a few minutes by the warm fireplace with a cup of HOT CHOCOLATE.
See ya soon,
Linda
Here she is sitting on my newly painted table.
She has a little bit of a stone look.
Now most of you know...she was a NIFTY THRIFTY find...got her

You are going to get addicted to that glaze! I don't think I commented on your green tables, but they are very cute painted that color. I may have to go buy me some paint and glaze this weekend.
Linda,
I glaze everything too! Our kitchen cabinets are glazed as is the crown mold in the kitchen!
Our master bedroom furniture is off white with a chocolate glaze also. I love the glazed look!
I glaze anything that doesn't glaze me first!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Donna
Oohh I'm liking this glazing idea - nice change from white paint. That looks really good.
Cheers,
Lisa x
I'm loving the table shown here. Love the color and finish. And the style.
Linda
That is so good. Once you find something easy and cool it is hard to stop!! Love the finds at a thrift shop!!

This is so lovely! You have a great blog. I am hosting a giveaway on my blog...hope to see you there:-) hugs Anu
PS. I just entered your giveaway:-)
So pretty, I am a glazing fool too! Maybe we should start a club LOL~
I redid some furniture for my daughter's bedroom and the dresser is a beautiful blue with a glaze over it too. I sanded it down too, for an old, worn look. I'm no expert, by any means, but I did like how it turned out. I have an end table for my office that I am anxious to work on and I want to glaze it too. I may wait and work on it when the weather gets warmer. Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
Ok....stupid question here! What kind/color of glaze did you use and what technique did you use to put it on? Love how it turned out! :)
xoxo laurie
I have yet to work with glaze but seeing your projects is certainly making me want to run right out and buy some of that stuff!!!
Angex
Looks great to me! I haven't even tried glazing yet. You are inspiring me!
This looks fantastic, Linda. I am looking around for something I can glaze...got to start small! :-)

Jane

Well you might be a glazing fool, but the results are worth it. Very pretty.
Glazing is addictive!! There could be worse vices though :)!

Hahaha, my sweetie says Im so addicted to glazing he's gonna make me a Tshirt :0) I asked if I could glaze it too...
What a difference that glaze made on it! I agree does look like stone. Fabulous! Thanks for joining JFF.
Hi Linda. What a beautiful green table! You did a fantastic job on it. And the planter looks like stone now. Glazing is like magic, isn't it. It's good to be back in the saddle.
The planter looks great Linda! I like the table you painted and glazed too. Thanks to the advice of Debbie and Linda on my post today I am going to try my hand at painting and glazing some thrifty sconces I found.

It does look good! I think it is so funny how once a blogger gets a paintbrush in her hand...everything gets painted!

Hi Linda~
I love it with the glaze! I think it is so cute, and love the grass inside of it, too. It is sweet, but with a dash of "modern". :)
Thank you also for stopping by and saying hello, and for the kind words about the galvanized window! I so much appreciate it. :)
I hope you have a beautiful weekend!
Blessings~
Jenni
