Christmas Wrap-Up

Christmas 2009 is wrapping up and I can say that it was soooo AWESOME this year! This was our first year to buy gifts for Operation Christmas Child and another local family...I got so much out of it that next year I'm planning on going to Atlanta to spend a few days working in the warehouse for Operation Christmas Child. I held two parties at my home this year and that was also lots of fun...I LOVE to entertain for family and friends. Our candlelight service at our church on Christmas Eve was wonderful...as it always is...I just LOVE celebrating the birth of JESUS. My daughter Mary Claire and I went out yesterday in search for some bargains and came home with lots of great goodies...Target was our first stop...as it always is! My favorite gift that I got this year was a trip with my hubby...we leave on Tuesday...I'm going to leave you guessing until tomorrow about where we will be going...I'm soooo BAD! I hope each and every one of you had a blessed CHRISTMAS!

I spent some of my "SANTA" money and got this CUTIE...a message board...going to use mine for some of our photo Christmas cards...got it at 50% off!!!

Look how CUTE it is with some cards!

Going to make a red/silver ornament wreath for next year...$1.25 box at Target.

Mercury glass ornaments from Target...$1.98!

Some bronze ornaments only .98 cents...TARGET...just LOVE that store!

More from TARGET...$1.49

How cute!

My daughter got this little man for her condo at college!

Eight snowflakes for only .98 cents...can never have too many snowflakes!

I went way out on this one...it was $4.98...had to have it...I just LOVE how it looks on my garage sale lamp in my kitchen!

LOVE them...they were FREE!!!

These were FREE too...I had a $10.00 coupon for Kohl's and got all four of these ornaments for FREE...I also got some earrings and socks at Penney's last week with a $10.00 coupon for FREE too...you just can't beat FREE!!!!!

My girls made me these ornaments...what SWEET girls I have!

My daughter gave me the bird and star ornament...they came from a cute little gift shop in my favorite town...AUBURN!

World Market sure did have some AWESOME bargains...50% off plus I had a 15% off coupon...$14.99 candles for only $3.18...$4.99 earrings for only $2.12...this store is one of my favorites!

Hi Linda,
Looks like Christmas all over again for you!
I really like all your great bargains and the ornaments made by your children.

I'm going to venture out tomorrow to see if there are any bargains left. I had to work on Saturday and missed all the early stuff.

Have a great trip with hubby. Hope it's somewhere warm.

You made out like a bandit! Our Target didn't have very much left by the time I got there but I did pick up another Santa ornament and some cute bread plates for 1/2 off.

Can't wait to hear where you're going with your hubby!

Good deals!!! Everyone loves them!! My daughter got me a similar snowman as one of the photos at her schools secret santa. It is sitting on top of my tv now because snowmen really last longer than Christmas! Hope you have a great new year!

Wow...you did get some bargains! You can't beat a good after Christmas sale. I have not had a chance to get out to shop since Christmas. It was too snowy the day after and today the family drove up to my Mom and Dad's and finally got to celebrate Christmas with them. It was fun, relaxing day.
I am anxious to hear where you are going on your trip....sounds like fun!

I love that you have a servant's heart for Christmas, Operation Christmas Child was one of my favorite memories as a kid that our family helped out.

And wow those target deals were great. I was there at 6:45 for the doors to open up at 7am. People were going crazy. You got some good loot. Gotta love those bargains.

Linda, the message board is a cute idea for Christmas cards. Great finds at Target. I made it to Containter Store, Crate and Barrel, and William Sonoma on Saturday. Some good bargains at all. Like you, it's difficult to resist a bargain even if you have to pack most of it away for next season. LOL
Have a great trip! Travel safely.....Sarah
