Sloooow Goooing!

I'm slowly but surely getting there...still have a lot more to do before I'm finished with my dining room makeover. I can mark a few things off the list...painting the room...having my new wood floors installed...moving the furniture into their new spaces...washing all of my china and crystal...then loading it all back into the china cabinet...also had to load all my silver serving pieces back into the buffet and believe me ladies...this takes soooo much time...but so worth it!!!! I still need to...hang my new drapes...hang my mirror and other wall decor...paint my chandelier (yes...I'm going to paint my brass chandelier)...buy some white shelves and install them and work on a new vignette for the buffet...all I need is....TIME!!!! I'm not one to hurry with a project, I like to take my time and take it slow...I think SLOW is my middle name...so what's your middle name?
Hope y'all come back now...real soon,
                                                                          Linda

                                                               Work in progress!!!!

                                                              Just look at that shine!!!

My china pattern from the 80's!!!
I would go a little different route
                                                               if I were choosing
                                                               my pattern today!!!

  2. Well it looks like you got some of the big stuff out of the way at least. Can't wait to see the finished project! I have a somewhat similar china pattern. I only use it once or twice a year. I think whatever you pick out, it doesn't stand the test of time stylewise.

  17. I'm in that same slow club. It takes me forever to make a decision, then forever to finish, then forever to like what I've done or change it. I'm a mess, lol.

  18. Oh my it's looking good already so I can't wait to see it finished! We're in the process of changing rooms around now that we are an 'empty nest' and things are in such a disarray. We laughed the other day that we enjoy the discussing what we want to do so much more than actually doing it!

  19. It will be ready when you need it.... and that's what really matters.

  21. I know it is going to be bee-u-tee-ful!!!
My middle name should be "What were you thinking?"
I always ask that about half way through every project I start!
The guys went for the first half of today's game.
Not much new to see after that. Al said the stadium was full. I'm glad.
Don't you hate the accusations that are out and about!

  22. Everything looks like it's falling right into place and s-l-o-w is a great way to approach such projects!

I'm back on the Gulf Coast for a l-o-n-g visit with friends and family. Today I'm heading over to Sanibel to spend some quality time with some other Florida Bloggers this week. I know there will be lots of shelling and laughing involved.

I'm having a giveaway to celebrate my return to blogging, so stop by when you get a chance to join the fun!!!

    Hugs my dear friend.

  23. I can't wait to see your dining room makeover. My middle name is also "slow" and my last name is "because I have toddler twins in the mix." lol! Loving the sparkle of your china! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I'm so happy you loved it enough to follow, too. I'm a little SLOW to thank you but life (viruses, etc.) got in the way these past two weeks. ;)

    Hugs to you,
    Jami
