Hello Friends!
Thank you for all of your warm & kind comments you shared after touring my
mini Christmas Home Tour, over at my Christmas linky party. Today, I will be sharing the two rooms that have to do with eating...oh boy!
So come on in, grab a cup of coffee or cocoa, and enjoy another mini Christmas home tour! I’ll start out by saying our house is never this clean, things were shoved out of the way to take pictures, we don’t have a perfect home, and it took days to clean up just so I could take a few photos. Ok, whew, glad that's out of the way, so now we can start the tour.
Blessings,
Linda
Here we are in the kitchen...the fun room:)Found this huge architectural corbel fresh off
the truck from a pickin trip in Franklin, TN. It
was love at first sight.
Some more vintage goodies can be found here too.
I put my vintage scale here 11 months ago,
and it hasn't been moved once, now that's a
rare thing for this ole gal.
My take on snow globes. Okay, I like
to be a tad bit different.
Who remembers my red Tonka truck
that I purchased at the Chapel Market?
Oh yes, I knew when I spotted him, that
he would be hauling a Christmas tree in
a few months and here he is!
Kinda liking this simple centerpiece. Don't you just
love this new ironstone piece that I found for $6? She
is so classic, and I tell you this, she will hanging around
here for a very long time.
Now, let's step into the dining room.
My favorite dough bowl is filled
with some pretties.
Here I have our tree with all the
special family ornaments...some
date back 28 years.
Me and my nontraditional tree skirts. This
is a vintage tablecloth that I am using this
year as a tree skirt, and next year you might
just find it on the kitchen table, you just never
know with me.
These little light-up bears are from
our early years....that would be the
wonderful 80's!
New and old mixed together.

You are so blessed to have found that little Tonka truck. I thought about hauling my son's down from the attic but it was yellow and big. Oh well. I love your ironstone. Teddy bears were everywhere during the 80s at Christmas. I'm impressed you still have the teddy bear lights and that they still work. Love it all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful Linda…just love all of the wonderful vignettes…and have to say that I love the Santa ornament with the "button beard"..so cute!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous Linda!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have that same exact kitchen island! I find that the top gets scratched really easily, do you? I buffed out the scratched once, but they are back now. I try to keep something on it to help avoid scratching.

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful! I especially love the wall color in the kitchen (what is it?), the filled mason jars, the scale, and the old Santa Face mug. I have a mug just like that that belonged to my parents and is over 50 years old...they must have been popular "in the day". Thanks for opening up your home for us. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Cheryl
I just love it all, ...love your sense of style! Your home is beautiful!
