Let's take a little ride today along the BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY...grab a cup of coffee and let's see what FALL looks like in this part of the country. We will begin our trip in Asheville and head north on the parkway...as we go along you will be able to see the difference in the colors...the higher we get the colors are not as pretty...past their peak. This was a perfect FALL day...sunny with the temps in the 60's. Well since we are not Harley folks and we don't have a convertible...the next best thing was to open up our sunroof and roll down our windows and hey...we now fit in with the rest of the crowd!!! Gotta make do with what ya got...right? Hope you enjoy the trip and thanks for coming along for the ride!!
Blessings,
Linda

Your pictures are gorgeous! The fall colors are amazing. I've never been there but sure hope to some year. Our fall colors were dull, no rain so a lot of trees were on the brown side. Thanks for sharing your pics, I really enjoyed seeing what that part of the country looks like!

The Blue Ridge Parkway in fall is one of my absolute favorite drives. I could seriously go there just for the drive! The pictures you took are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS pictures. I actually live about an hour west of Asheville. Actually, you had to come pretty near my house to get on the parkway.
ReplyDeleteI feel incredibly blessed to live in this area all of the time -- but fall is my most favorite time of year for sure! God is GREAT, isn't he?!?
Oh I LOVE driving on the parkway! It is the most beautiful place EVER! We went last summer camping, I would love to visit during the fall. I think I'll wait until my husband returns from deployment and share it with him. :)
