Please hurry up and get here...I'm sooooo ready for some college football...well to be honest...I'm really ready for some AUBURN TIGERS FOOTBALL!!!! Only 18 days to our first game and get this...I will be watching it from home and inside...now I know that's hard to believe...but it's true. When game time was announced and kick off was 11:30am...I knew I would be watching from inside with some AC running full blast...just way to hot for me. Now if you are thinking that I will not be going to games this year...well you are wrong...I booked our hotel room for four games last week and might just add another to the list later on. Talking about some Auburn football...thought y'all might find this funny...we had AUBIE (our mascot sing at Haley's wedding)!!! Okay...he was not in the Aubie costume...a regular men's suit was a better choice for the day. This young man has been a friend of the bride and groom since childhood...the three of them sang in our church youth choir for four years. He did a wonderful job signing this song by Matthew West...When I Say I Do...yes...I cried...it's a beautiful song.

Yay for football season! Can't say I'm an Auburn fan, but rest easy, I'm not a Bama fan either. We watch more pro football at our house than college.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that says FALL like Football!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of year again. There's so much football watching going on in this house. Every weekend Mr. MST and my oldest son can be heard all over the neighborhood. They had a Fantasy Football party last weekend when it was time to pick teams.
ReplyDeleteI am not quite as excited about football season this year as I normally am. Let's just say that Ohio State has not had a good off season and leave it at that. That is so cool that Aubie got to sing at the wedding!
ReplyDeleteI just suggested that my new grandbaby could call us Shug and the Bear. Guess who Shug would be? I think that is appropriate!
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle :-{)
We have had the Kansas City Chiefs at our local college for the last two weeks for training camp. Camp ended today after the three o'clock practice. I like watching college football, I just think they get into it better then the pro's. I have been reading, but couldn't leave comments. I am doing pretty good this evening so far. Have a great weekend. Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteheheheheheh......an LSU Tiger checking in here!! I just secured a motorhome spot at Death Valley for the Auburn game!!!!!! I follow artfully graced who is a diehard auburn fan....now I'll have to read TWO "other" Tiger blogs!!! Whew.....can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for football season either!! A friend and I actually started a blog devoted to football and saturdays in the south! I thought about when I created a fashion post with Auburn colors!! I found another perfect tailgating dress last night for Aubrun (I went to NC State so my colors are red and white, but my navy is my favorite color so I would love to be able to wear that on gameday, ha)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love college football. Ain't it Great To Be An Auburn Tiger!!
