Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays No. 18 and a GIVEAWAY

Hello everyone...hope all is well with you and hope you have BIG plans for the upcoming July 4th holiday...I know I do! I will be spending the holiday at my beach condo in Gulf Shores. I was not lucky enough it get a ticket to the Jimmy Buffet concert here on the beach this Thursday...I guess I will just hang out near the area! I don't have much to share this week...sometimes that just happens. I do hope you have lots of treasures to show off this week...so let's get this PARTY started!

I just love silk lampshades and I found this little baby at a garage sale for only 25 cents...I knew she would be mine when I spotted that awesome price tag!This sweet little silver cross was not a garage sale find...Mr.CC and I received this as a gift from one of our children that we teach in Sunday School...I just love displaying crosses around my home...how about you?

    Isn't it nice to find such a pretty shade you could use forsuch an awesome price! And the Cross is beautiful! yes, I have several crosses throughout my house. I love them.

    I love crosses, have many of them. Great score on the lamp shade too. Hope all is well Linda, feel like I have not seen you in forever:)!~ Hope you do not mind I linked up an audition tape I sent in for the Oprah show....I do have a nifty thrift table in the video that I redid. Thanks so much.

    Wowie. a whole quarter for the lampshade? That is definitely a major bargain! Your gifted cross looks lovely on the lamp. How sweet of the class to have given it as a gift.

    Good morning Linda, I started linking up to your thrifty meme and I am enjoying meeting some new friends, including you. Your Blog is interesting and fun. I live in the mountains in NC so 'Coastal Charm' is not a look for me. However, most of my life was growing up in Fl. near the beaches. I have to say, the mountain life is for me. I still love the beaches and the charm of living near the beautiful coastal life as well.

    Love the darling shade and the cross you hung on the lamp. A sweet gift to you and a lovely way to display the beauty of a cross.

    Love the lamp with the cross.. I must have dozens of little and large crosses scattered around my home.. I love the Celtic ones.
    I do hope it was ok to post the story of "Heather" on your bloghop.. her family is really in need of donors for her.. their desperate!
