Back in the Spring I was making some "coastal" bottles for my beach condo and I purchased a box of corks from Target to use for my bottle stoppers...this lead to more displaying with the extra corks. I believe that the box of corks were $5.00...now that is a very THRIFTY price for all those corks! I'm thinking that I might make a picture frame with corks...what do you think about this idea? Maybe I will put a pic of Mr.CC and I...out enjoying a wonderful night of dining here on the gulf coast. Yes...we are still dining out at our local resturants and you should too...more on that subject later. Take a look around at the fun that I'm having displaying with corks and maybe you to will head over to Target and join in on the FUN!

I have a ton of cork that fill (2) large glass vases - one in the kitchen and one in the living room. They are a lot of fun to decorate with!

ReplyDeleteGreat ideas, you are very creative, hope you find many other uses for them too, have a great day, Hugs, Barbara

ReplyDeleteThat looks wonderful and beachy! (Is that a word)?

Linda, that is a great price for the corks. I saw a bag of them at the flea market for $25. No way am I going to pay that. You know I love those stoppers you made.
ReplyDeleteOh boy...do I have tons of wine corks!! I made a huge frame for a mirror with mine:)
ReplyDeleteLove your cork ideas! I'm seeing alot of projects using them and I love their look and texture with natural items like your shells. I even saw a birdhouse covered with corks, it was way cuter than it sounds, trust me. Now my brain is ticking...ticking...and one of these days it will probably explode, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea! Love it! Be blessed. Cindy
ReplyDeleteNo traveling to Target for corks...Friends are kind enough to save them for me!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your corks are popping all over! (Pun intended.) I think the picture frame with corks sounds like a great idea. I remember years ago seeing someone line them up on the sides in rows, inside of a frame and then using it as a "cork" board. It was really unique and very cute.
ReplyDeleteA-dor-able cork vignettes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas, and the heads up on where to find them!
Hugs!
Love corks! I have an extra, extra EXTRA large Brandy snifter full of them (not to mention the ones in the wine opener drawer)!! How'd you get that vase on the wall?
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! Thank you so much for linking up to Fab Friday this week.

Great ideas. I might have to make some of the wine bottle stoppers to display on Eve, my hutch. Always an inspiration Ms. Coastal Charm!
