Gulf Front Dining...Thrifty Style

Here on the gulf coast, we all love outside dining, and with a view like I have here, can you blame us? While I am spending time at my beach front condo, 90% of my meals are right here, on my balcony. I was in need of a new dining set, so when I got these three FREE pieces, I knew just where they were going. The salt air does a number on our outdoor furniture ( and I hate plastic furniture), so I thought I would try some wood furniture. If, these pieces don't hold up well, then I have lost nothing but just a few hours of painting time. Okay ladies, I know the pics are kinda plain, with no tablescape and fluffing, but when your sweet hubs delivers the furniture for you, this is what you get. I have so many furniture projects going on around here, so when a project gets finished, out of here, it goes! Next week, when I am there, I will then do some styling. So, until then, this is it! Hope you all have a fun summer weekend! Our weekend plans include two days of celebrating a friends wedding, we are all so very excited for her.
                                                      Blessings,
                                                         Linda

                          NIFTY THRIFTY GULF FRONT DINING!!!

See why I LOVE my view!!!!

A tad bit shabby and dirty too!

These chairs were awful...dirty and
a poor paint job.

Then I got my hands on them, and here they are...all
cute and "COASTAL"!!!

  3. Linda, your new set fit your balcony just perfectly!
I am sooooo jealous ( in the best way) that you live right on the beach!!! How wonderful!!! I love the sound of the waves. I hope you can clean up the chairs without destroying those darling starfish.
