Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays No.53 and a GIVEAWAY

Shabby Apple is giving away one of their amazing women's dresses to one of my COASTAL CHARM readers. They have the cutest, stylish clothes around. I loved "window shopping" on their site. Shabby Apple takes pride in high quality of their garments. They use only the finest fabric mills and have it thoroughly inspected to make sure you receive the most beautiful garments possible! As you can see...I am so happy that Shabby Apple found me, so I now can shop with them. Shabby Apple has been featured in magazines such as Glamour, Marie Claire and many others. They are also offering a 10% off coupon code type "coastalcharm10off" at checkout. Their maternity dresses and bridesmaid dresses are really chic. And checkout their sweet preteen and little girls dresses...don't forget they also have swimsuits and aprons. With Easter and Spring just right around the corner, I have chosen a dress that I feel like most of you will love...perfect for a graduation, wedding or any type of outdoor party...check it and see for yourself...it's named L'Amour...I LOVE it and I hope you will too!

All's fair in love and war…leave everyone green with envy in this shabby-apple green gem of a frock. Made for a seductress, this frock is all scallop and show, with a row of flouncy ruffles descending from the left shoulder across the chest, flutter sleeves, and a cinched waist. Pair it with gold heels and an arm full of bangles to steal his heart, or sweet flats and a silk shawl for a more innocent look. The light and airy cotton blend is the perfect answer to getting dressed up in the summer's heat, and the length keeps things ladylike when you take a seat on the grass to watch Shakespeare in the Park. This dress Fits Generously. Dress is fully lined in white cotton. Waist is elastic and hits at the natural waist. Skirt has a straighter cut. The
dress made of Cotton Lawn, a sheer cotton fabric with a tight plain weave and a graceful drape. To care for this dress machine wash cold, line dry. It comes in sizes XXS-XL and is a $88 value...click here for more info. Visit the Shabby Apple website and check out all their wonderful products - women's dresses, maternity dresses, clothing, jewelry, accessories, preteen outfits and little girl's dresses. Here is a look at a couple of my favorites...

Now onto the party...it's week #53 and I will be sharing with you a THRIFTY shelf that I was lucky to get my hands on. I have been working on my dining room makeover for months now (I know some of you are wondering when will I ever get it finished...I promise it's almost done). While I was thriftin' over in Florida one day last month, I found this unique shelf and I knew it would perfect in my new room...even better was her price tag...$16...that's right...all of this for only $16!!!! Now I want to see what all of y'all have to share this week...so link right up!
Thanks for coming and I hope
                                                              you have a great time,
                                                                          Linda

When I had my antique business, I could have
sold a piece like this for around $150!
She was white, but I wanted to go with a soft
grey...her color is Dolphin Cove from the
                                                    Valspar Seaside Retreat Collection.

Dressed her up just a tad...always
                                                                     love doing this!
Added some of my Ironstone collection.
What a cute little tiny shelf at the bottom!
This "FAITH" sign was a thrifty find at a local gift shop...it was
in their Christmas section because it had a red ribbon...I took
care of that with some jute...marked 75% off...$3.75!!!
I'm soooo lovin' how her makeover turned out...I used some of my
mocha glaze and then finished with my Minwax paste
                                                                     finishing wax.
                                                        More thrifty treasures...this vase was
found in a local thrift store
                                                                     for only $3.50!
                                                                 FREE seashells...now don't
                                                                          be mad at me!
I have a couple of frames that I'm painting
that I will be using on this wall with
                                                some more white ironstone plates...I'm
                                                            still working and fluffing!
If you have never used glaze...give it a try...it's
                                                            some awesome stuff!
