Fluffing With Some Southern Cotton

Who doesn't like a little bit of change in our home decor? I'm always lovin' a new look...it feels like you have a brand new NEST! Now Mr.CC thinks I'm a little crazy because I go around changing things up all the time, but I think all hubbies do this...I guess it's their job. Since I'm a true THRIFTY GAL, I don't spend too much moola when to comes to my decorating and that's a good thing. Here are the changes that I have made on my mantel...I did some fluffing and came up with this!
Hope all of y'all have a wonderful weekend!
                                                                      See ya soon,

Now all SOUTHERN homes need a little COTTON!

  14. I really love cotton plants. I would love to have access to some myself. I have driven by cotton fields before and want to sneak over and pick some but am afraid to get caught. Lovely...

  15. Linda,
I want to grow some cotton! There are fields of it around the countryside here in the summer. I grew some years ago and stuffed a pillow I made. I think I still have the pillow somewhere! Love me some cotton :)

  18. I'm a new follower! Just found you, and LOVE your blog! I love this entry, and have always had a fondness for birds. I have picked several up along the way, and they are all over my house. I love the way that you put shells with pinecones. My husband and I travel to Sanibel twice a year to collect, and I am always looking for ways to display them. Can't wait to see what's next. ox Lisa

I love what you've done with the cotton. I live in S. Arkansas and when I travel to the central part of the state I always stop and pick some cotton.
I visited my good friend in Opelika a few months ago. On our way down to the beach in Florida we stopped to pick some cotton there too! You've given me some ideas!
Thank you for sharing! You have a new follower!

  29. Tennessee Cotton girl here at Mel's Cabin...picked some up about 36 years ago and it's been sitting in a glass covered bowl ever since, and still looks the same. Cotton never goes out of style in modern or country...it's a great decorating piece. Mel
