What A Wonderful Day

What a wonderful day I had here on the coast...it all started off with our Sunday School class of three year olds...yes...Mr.CC and I teach a three year old class at our church. We have taught three and four year olds off and on for 18 years and it has been such a blessing...we looove working with little ones! Every year on Easter our children bring flowers to church so they can go put them on the CROSS that is located out in one of our courtyards...they all really like doing this and what a great way to teach them about the RESURRECTION of CHRIST!

After church we headed over to my mothers house for Easter lunch...this has been a tradition in my family that is always a great time had by all and today was no exception. The only thing missing was my SWEET daughter Mary Claire...this was my first Easter without her and that was hard, but that's life when your children grow into adults. I hope all of you had a blessed EASTER day with your families!
OUR butterfly house...this one is much smaller than the one that Mr.CC made with wood about twelve years ago...he likes to do things BIG!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter, and I know what you mean about it being hard when our babies aren't with us for each and every holiday anymore!

  9. Such a lovely Easter tradition! How beautiful to have the cross of flowers. And I'm very intrigued by the butterfly house. I do a gardening linky party (Green Thumb Gardening Day) on Saturdays, I'd love for you to link that up with how you do it sometime!! :)
    Blessings,

  10. I am so glad you got to spend Easter with your family. That is great that y'all teach the little ones. Their minds are like little sponges. Those flowers are beautiful that they put on the cross.
