Michaels Alert!!!!

Hello ladies...if you have a local MICHAELS then you need to head right over to their 5 for $1.00 SALE! Yes...you read that correctly...20 cents for some of the cutest items...most of them are Christmas but all of them...I came home with 33 items and only spent $6.60! This is part of their 80% off Christmas SALE...the items were part of their dollar section. I found more dollar sections in other areas of the store yesterday and had a FUN time there too. My daughter said that MICHAELS is beating TARGET in the dollar stuff...I agree. I'm going to try my best not to stop by there today on my way to work out at our church gym...but it sure is going to be really hard...wish me luck!

What a PRETTY little PEARL monogram...soooo many possibles!

Love these magnets...guess I should at only 10 cents each...WOW!

Polka Dot Christmas Note Cards...a girl can never have too many Note Cards!

What cute Wine Bottle Tags...the polka dot ones can be used year round!

Write down some of your favorite Christmas recipes and mail them in your Christmas Cards...your family and friends will love it!

Christmas ornaments for only 20 cents...these will make AWESOME NAME TAGS for next years gifts...they are wooden with fabric on the front...just sign the back and your done!

Dang...you can't go wrong only spending 20 cents on these wooden words...I'm going to paint some of them for using in wreaths and add ribbon to some for ornaments.

Loving all this glitter!

These little tin stars are just too stinkin cute...soooo I went way out on them and spent 25 cents each!

  14. We have a similar sale at Michael's in Canada too. I got the polka dot note cards, some other note cards, Snowflake envelopes and 4 pack of fancy file folders, 25 cents each. The stars are the ones I used on my cowboy Christmas tree but I paid before Christmas, I think, $1.49 for most of them.

  25. Bummer I went to Hobby Lobby when I went to the city this past weekend. I had been to Michael 3 or 4 times before Christmas so I wanted to see what was new at the other place. I think I must of made a mistake. Great finds!

  27. Linda, thank you for your visit and sweet comment! Although we live in Texas, my favorite place on earth is the beloved Gulf Coast of Alabama and Florida...so you have won my heart and I will be following your blog!! Anyone who is lucky enough to live there...I want to be friends with! We plan our trip each summer and I look forward to the next year before we even leave the beach each summer. Thanks for finding me.

  32. I know! I have made a few trips to Michaels and could not believe that the items were 20cents each!! I spent about $6 too. I also picked up a huge bottle of Martha Stewart glitter for $3 and 3 bottle of her glitter for $4. WOW!!

However, my local Target which is right next to Michaels does not have a $1.00 section. Where in the store is yours located?
