I have spent almost two full weeks relaxing at my beach condo and oh boy, I sure did need it. This past week, I did paint some new signs for the shop while I was there. Working with a view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, is not a bad deal y'all, trust me! Since I arrived home, I have been busy working outside in the yard. Saturday was spent planting flowers and power washing. Sunday, I did more planting, cleaned up some antique shutters (adding them to my patio), cleaned some goodies for the shop and started cleaning out flower beds. Today, I will be laying some sod out...hey...I think I hear the beach calling my name (in my dreams). While I'm laying sod out for the few days, my hubs will be at the beach. What? How did that happen? Well, truth be told, he works at the beach. Yes, if you didn't already know, Jack is a real estate broker at the beach. If, you ever think about buying property here in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores, you can e-mail him at jsikes2163@yahoo.com and he will be happy to help you find the perfect spot. Thank you for coming to my party today, I hope you have some fun while you are here.
Blessings,
Linda

ReplyDeleteLinda, that big blue herron is a beauty. A friend recently sent me a photo of one that was visiting her garden pond. They are big birds. Not sure why it was this far inland. Austin isn't exactly near the coast.
