This is a post for all of us, that love old homes. I live in the deep South, and here we cherish our history. I am sure you will notice right away, that back in the day, our homes were built with front porches. From what I understand, these porches were used to socialize with neighbors. Last week while I was visiting this area, I was happy to see that some of porches were still being used to gather with neighbors (some things just never change...thank goodness). So, lets take a look at what a historic area in the deep South looks like. You might want to have a tall glass of sweet tea, while you take this tour...sweet tea is the drink of the SOUTH Y'ALL!!!
Blessings,
Linda
