With some warmer temps, and daylight savings time coming up this weekend, I'm sure in the mood to decorate my nest for SPRING. Now, I know that some of you are having snow storms (sorry about that), but here we are having some days in the 70's. So, what's a gal suppose to do, but get out all her bunnies and eggs, and get busy, right? I decided to make a new wreath for my front door this year, so, when I spotted these pretty faux dogwoods, I knew they would be perfect for the look, that I had in mind. Inside my nest, I have decorated the mantel and made several vignettes, but I will be sharing them with you, at a later date. My daughter got crafty again, and made a darling banner for my old rusty gate, and I am sharing that today. Thanks for taking the time to come by for a visit (I love visitors). I will be attending several linky parties, so grab a cup of coffee and join me there!
Blessings,
Linda

ReplyDeleteYour wreath is so pretty, I especially like the little nest. That is such a sweet banner. Love the rustic look of the burlap and paint with the soft pastels.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wreath. It screams welcome spring for sure. I love all your other goodies too. I never thought of painting burlap. It's a great look.
ReplyDeleteI love your new banner. My daughter is going to have a stroke when she sees it. She made a "Happy Easter" banner for a photo shoot she's doing at a local park, right this minute! She would have loved the "He is Risen" better. I am going to the hardware store today.... This is the first time I've been to your blog and have enjoyed my stay.

Is there anything any better than a grapevine wreath with a nest? I don't think so! It is simple but so sweet. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteOooh! i love that wreath, especially the little nest with eggs. I am planning to make an Easter cake with little nests on top. My baking skills are not fantastic but I have an idea in my head.
