Today, I will be sharing just two, check back with me later for more!
Y'all know me...I would much rather
head to a flea market than to a mall so I thought I would give you the list I take with me
when I head out to hunt and gather.
Let's see what's on my list....
1. Architectural
Pieces. Things like garden
gates, mantels, old doors and windows. These things never get boring...I always
find new uses for anything unique. I sold this garden gate for wedding...what a charming item to use for displaying black and white pics of the couple.
2. Anything Galvanized. Buckets, bins and old oil cans take on new life as light fixtures, planters and shelves. It a great way to add a touch of industrial to your home.
They would be on my list, too, Linda! Looking forward to more...enjoy the weekend! Love the burlap coffee sacks in the last post, too!
ReplyDeleteNow I have to wait for 3-10~ Love the idea for the gate...how cute. I just got some galvanized buckets from my Mom's house to take home...yeehaw! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteThose are both on my list too. I bet we have a very similar top 10!
ReplyDeleteOn my list; bowling balls. I put them atop a cinder block flower bed border. There are other items but once I get going...the list will not quit soooo.....
ReplyDeletekindred spirits are we! moi aussi! Good luck finding your tresors!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Yes! I love a shabby gate and the galvanized....well who can go wrong there, either?
ReplyDeleteWhat I really want is the sign in your shop that says, "Because Nice Matters." I'm living with a teenager...
Happy Friday!
Hi, Linda!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your list!!!
I am new blogger and "treasure hunter" so I REALLY appreciate the tips you are giving!!! Because I still don't have the "eye" and the vision people like you have!
I love the gate, what a great idea, to use it for a wedding!
Talk to you soon!
Linda, I love the rust and galvanized too. My girlfriend that is doing the Flea with me is bringing all old rusty buckets, garden tools, kerosene and oil cans, It will make for a nice mix of shabby and rusty!
ReplyDeleteCarol
