Nifty Thrifty Tuesday No.83 and a Giveaway

I'm so lovin' this fall weather here on the gulf coast...it's just perfect for getting out and checking out all those garage sales. On Saturday Haley and I had a sale at her house...we did pretty good (still had plenty of stuff still hanging around...so some of it made it to GW)...best part is I have some room now to bring home some goodies from my upcoming vacation next week. At the end of our trip we are planning on going to the Nashville Flea Market...has anybody been to it? If so...PLEASE let me know if it's any good...I'm looking for a great outdoor antique show and I'm hoping that this one will be it! We are also spending a few days in Asheville, N.C. and I'm also looking forward to doing some thriftin' there too...can't wait to check out some antique shops that Penny has told me about. The purpose of our trip is to see all the beautiful fall foliage along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Speaking of the fall season here in the South...can't miss out on taking in some college football...we will also be at the Auburn vs. Florida game on Saturday and then heading over to Atlanta on Sunday and watching our favorite NFL player play there...yes this will be my first NFL game to attend and I'm so looking forward to watching Cam play like a PRO...this guy is sooooo much fun to watch...no matter what jersey he is wearing.     Thanks for hosting the party. The vast majority of my table decor is either thrifted or stuff I already had so I went ahead and linked it. Hope that's OK. I have been on a thrifting slump the last few weeks, but still wanted to come to the party!

    Linda, sounds like a fun trip coming up. I have not been to the Nashville Flea Market and wish I was going. I have heard people say it is good. My son lives there and I wish we were headed that way, but we will be going to the mountains like you in the Asheville/Cherokee area, but only for two days and one night. You will love antiquing in Asheville! I may be there on the 21st. Still not sure.

    Nice to visit with you today. Becky from Buckets of Burlap sent me your way. I live in middle Tennessee and go to the Nashville flea just about every month. I think it's a good flea market, but honestly don't have a lot to compare it to. This months is supposed to be a big one. Becky is coming in from Louisiana for a visit with her family and she and I will actually be there that weekend shopping as well. Maybe these blogging ladies will run into each other.
