It's week three for college football and this crazy fan has stayed at home watching her AUBURN TIGERS play on TV...now what's up with that? Honey...are we both crazy? Let's get off this couch and hit the road to watch our TIGERS play some other TIGERS this week in person...sounds good to me! So off we go to Clemson to meet up with some Clemson friends for a day full of tailgating and a 12:00 game. I was so happy to find out the temps will be in the mid 70's at kick-off...now that's perfect football weather down here in the south. Since we are going all the way to Clemson, I thought why don't we just leave a few days early so we can do some shopping and site seeing...anybody have any suggestions on any good thrift stores, antique shops, flea markets and quaint gift shops that I must visit in the Clemson/Greenville area? If so...please e-mail me at coastal.charm@yahoo.com...thanks y'all! My team is 2-0 this year and get this...we have not lost a game in the past 17 games...I sure hope will hit number 18 on Saturday...with that I will leave you with a big...WAR EAGLE!!!!
Your friend,
Linda
Sure hope we see these flags running
up and down the field all day!
Our friends tell us that Clemson
is a lot like Auburn...so maybe
it will feel little like
home!
Linda have a great time, I don't have any tips for you, however I know you will find some terrific spots!

Awwww!!!! I just told my husband we should come up even if it's just to talk to ya'll and tailgate! My hubs is going hunting though! UGH!!!! Dang hunting season starts tomorrow. The weather here is going to be perfect! Try to park as close as you can to the stadium! We made a mistake last year parking almost 3 miles away it felt like.
ReplyDeleteoh, don't bother going to the Anderson flea market. It's terrible.
Still hoping we can come up!
1 more thing! Y'all will win too! Clemson is terrible this year.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time!!! Wish we were there...
