Oh yes...thank you Annie for making such a wonderful product...this stuff really rocks!!! My first victim was an old vintage mirror (will share her with ya later)...today I'm sharing victim #2...my old sewing machine table. I have had this table for many years now and have used it in several different locations here in my nest...I even let my sister use it for awhile...ahhhh how sweet of me. Since Haley moved out of our cottage and we gave her some of our furniture...I needed something to hold our OLD TV (okay...now don't laugh...we still have some really OLD TV's around here)...no flat screens for us just yet...but I'm thinking really hard on that subject and just maybe in the next few months we will break down and buy one...yippee!! This table is just the right size for our TV...all she needed was a touch up paint job and she was ready to go. Pulled out some paris grey paint...clear wax and dark wax...then 30 minutes later she was all done...fastest paint job ever!!! Mr.CC could hardly believe it...oh my honey...this stuff is awesome...what a beautiful look...he loved it and I do too. If you haven't tried this paint yet...do yourself a favor and try it...it's really neat.
Hope you have a wonderful
weekend and thanks for
coming by,
Linda

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, your sewing machine table turned out beautifully! Love it. I have my grandmother's old Singer with the machine still inside. Can't decide what to do....hmmmm, lots of inspiration! Linda p.s. We don't have any flat screen TVs either. Yet.
ReplyDeleteLove the paint and I love your tables!! The sewing machine table is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteAnd I am picking up my very first order of ASCP tonight!! Very exciting...I have a pair of "antique" end tables (that are super old but not fab quality) so I am dying to know if this works as well as everyone says!

It is fab isn't it Linda!? The sewing table turned out gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the sewing table re-do! Half an hour -- that's a record I'm sure for such a beautiful project! We hardly watch T.V. so about a year ago we got just a 19" computer monitor (LCD?)for our living room. Some people think it's weird but first of all, our living room is SMALL so we didn't want the T.V. to be a focal point and second, like I said, we're not big T.V. watchers.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Linda!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having fun at the slumber party!
I cant wait until an Annie Sloan paint store opens in our area...I am dying to try it!!!
