I always laugh when people don't put away their holiday decor in a timely matter and now I'm one of these people...yes I have joined their club. I just got around to putting away my Easter decor last week...thank goodness all of it was inside the house...do you have all your Easter decor put away? Come on...I know one of you must still have it out on display...so fess up and please tell me that I was not the last blogger to put their bunnies, baskets, eggs etc. away. Now since I have some new vignettes around here, I thought I would share one of them with you today. You can still link up to my NIF
TY THRIFTY TUESDAYS PARTY...it will up and running until Friday...so link up and visit around...I promise it's a lot of fun.
So happy that y'all all came by and
please be sure to come
again,
Linda
My dough bowl gets a new look!
Sooooo simple...that's the look
that I'm lovin' these days.
Here I added an old coffee sack
to my favorite basket...it's my
favorite because my sweet
grandfather made it!
Found the sack at one of my
favorite shops in Auburn...$5.00.
I'm thinking about making some pillows with
this old burlap bag...all I need is just some
TIME!!!!!
Linking up here...
It's not just you. I hadn't put away all my Easter decor, yet either. I just realized that I had kept my miniatures out on my foyer shelf and had to put them away today. Love the vignette! Very pretty! Can't wait to see the pillows. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell since I didn't decorate for Easter, then I'd say you are fine. Only so many hours in a day. Love your dough bowl vignette and the basket and sack are fabulous. Beautifully done. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI put my Easter decor away pretty quickly after Easter...but my Valentine's decor stayed out WAY too long this year...so you're not alone! I love the basket your grandfather made, what a treasure!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
Linda,
ReplyDeleteYou made me feel better! Mine is packed away in storage boxes but I have yet to take them to the basement!
I love your dough bowl with the jar. What a treasure the basket is! The burlap bag is great too!
Hugs,
Donna
Love that dough bowl. I put real veggies in mine on our bar but yours definitely looks smashing.
ReplyDeleteI just put my Easter decorations away last weekend LOL. So no, you are not the only one.
ReplyDeleteI love the dough bowl!~ I SO wish I could find one... Looks like I may have to learn how to make them. ;)
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it, I do have a bunny hanging on my door!! lol!
ReplyDeleteLove your vignette. I have always wanted a dough bowl. I like your arrangement inside! And what a sweet basket!
XO,
Jane
Linda your display is gorgeous. It's funny because yesterday I saw my dough bowl up on a high shelf in the garage, and thought about getting it down, talk about inpiration :) Mine is not as large as yours, but I do love them. The book looks great in it, and so handy when you're relaxing. Have a wonderful week, tami
ReplyDeleteHi Linda....love the dough bowl. I hope to have one some day! The grain sack is fabulous, too. Did you decide to keep your PB caddy? I looked at it today in the store and walked away thinking about it (I'm a slow-poke in making a decision.) The saleslady also suggested putting it on its side and using it for towels, etc. on the bathroom countertop.....what a clever idea!
ReplyDeleteLinda
You are not alone. I've been away so much, I may never catch up!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteLooks as though we are all in the same boat. Last year my Christmas Tree sat in the box in the dining room for four months! I'm not kiddin!
I love your home, it's so pretty. Love the basket with the grain sack.
hugs
Sissie
Love your new vignettes. I must admit I had my Easter down but not put away until this week. I did put up the birdies in the cubbies. Feel better now??
ReplyDeleteYou have such a pretty home...there is never enough time!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
It looks very comfortable and relaxing I love that look.I use to have an amazing dough bowl and sold it because it always ended up with junk in it.I now wished I still had it,it was from France which makes it even sadder.~Cheers Kim
ReplyDeleteLovely dough bowl! I've been on the search for one, but no luck yet =)
ReplyDeleteThe dough bowl vignette is sooo so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour grandfather's basket is amazing. How special to have it.
Thanks for continuing to support my party. I am thinking about renaming it "Failure To Launch"!!!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! And when you find some of that 'extra' time...share it with me! Love the book! I need one! ♥
ReplyDeleteIt's fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI just found some stray Christmas greens in the family room the other day. At this point I probably just should have left them and said I was decorating early for this year. I love that dough bowl. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone, Linda. I put away my Easter stuff the day before yesterday!
ReplyDeleteI have a bowl like that too! Love how you've filled it!!
ReplyDeleteI am diggin' the dough bowl!!! :D too, too cute!
ReplyDeleteI have to say some of the bunnies are still out. I have a thing for rabbits. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your bowl and that wonderful basket.
Dee
I just put away the little bird eggs that were tucked around the house if that makes you feel any better Linda! :-) Maybe because it still feels way more like Spring than Summer here in the NW. But I really love your vignettes you've created and they are just so crisp and fresh. I think that basket is so special and I love the burlap bag hanging out! Thanks so much for linking up this week to our Inspiration Friday party!
ReplyDeleteVanessa
Hi Linda, Most of my Easter decorations stayed packed up this year so I had very little to remove. I am still finding pine needles from last Christmas though! Thank you for sharing your pretty vignette at my party. Love the dough bowl.
ReplyDeletexo,
Sherry
LOVE that dough bowl, and burlap bag!!! Shhhh....don't tell anyone, I still have few bunnies out running around! Thanks for linking up to VIF! xoxo Debra
ReplyDeleteAfter Christmas, I scour the house looking for holiday decor to put away, but of course, I always find some big honky red thing after I think I through.
ReplyDeleteLike your burlap vase.
Fortunately I don't have Easter and so...no Easter decor! But I'm bad about getting it all put away after Christmas so, no, you're not alone. I love the little vignette in your dough bowl. So cute. And I love the dough bowl as well!
ReplyDeleteI am always excited when I find such wonderful blogs...amplified by the fact that you are a fellow Plainsman!! Your home is beautiful...love your decor ideas! War Eagle!!
