Looks like you did good. We're going to Lowe's and Home Depot in the morning so I'll pick up a flyer and see what they have.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! You got some killer deals!! I need to go get started too. Thanks for hosting the party!
ReplyDeleteLinda, wow it took me three tries to link up. Mclinky must me acting up. I am so wanting to buy some flowers to plant in the yard and my pots. I have Leila tomorrow and then it is supposed to rain again. Can't get a break. Our yard just keeps getting wet over and over.
ReplyDeleteI have been planting flowers and laying mulch all weekend too. I did not know that about the coupons. Thanks for the tip and for hosting. ♥O
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, What great deals you got on flowers. The boys and I went to Home Depot to start our flower shopping. My favorite time of the year. Now the rain just needs to slow down so we can start planting. Our yard it saturated.....we call it our Mosh Pit! Thanks so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteMarianne :)
I wish I'd known about that deal at HD...is it still going on? I'm hoping to get our back deck area cleaned up and some plants put in my wall planters before Sunday since I'm having the fam over for Easter. I did buy an outdoor rug at Penney's today (50% off!) and I think I'm going to order a new gazebo cover..it needs to be here by Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Judy
Sounds like you found some real bargains! These days you just can't get too many bargains!!
ReplyDeleteWow...you got some great deals on those beautiful plants. Do I see homemade pickles in your future? Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI love your flowers, Linda! I sooooo need to get my planting started! It will be summer before we know it! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you all the work but I sure do envy all the room & how pretty it is going to look when you're done! We don't even HAVE flowers out in the stores to purchase yet...still too stinkin' cold! Hurry up, Spring! It was 42ยบ today at noon. :-(
ReplyDeleteMy DH has his heirloom tomatoes started in peat pots in the sunroom. It will probably be another month before he can put them out, the way we're going.
Thanks for hosting the Nifty Thrifty. Now that I'm finally able to get outside to paint things (even in the cold) I'll have more to show so I can join in. I've just been piling it up in the garage, waiting!!!
Hugs,
Rett
The flowers are beautiful and you got a great deal! Your garden is going to be very colorful.
ReplyDeleteJane
Hi there! I've been planting and cleaning up the porch all week too. Love what you selected for your place. So pretty. That $5 palm with love that shady spot. I'm sure you'll find the right pot. I just hope what I planted makes it through the heat of summer. We have more shade this year with the oaks growing around us. Fingers crossed my herbs on the shady porch make it through...and that I can afford the water bill! lol
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I were planting plants now! We woke up to snow this morning! Arghhh! You got a great deal with your flowers!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know HD takes Lowe's coupons! Thanks for the thrifty tip. Your plants are so pretty and it sounds like you got some great deals. I can't wait to start planting too. A few weeks yet, I'm afraid. Thanks for hosting!

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, when you get done with planting and mulching you can come to my house...lol! My plans are to start working in my yard/porches today. Not sure how much I'll get done though because pollen is still bad here.
ReplyDeleteDon't work to hard today,
Gail
Wow- you are organized, have a list, and took advantage of a great deal. Everything looks so cheerful. We are getting another round of snow this afternoon, at least 3 inches they say. So all I have done is clear ground of debris and sticks so far.
ReplyDeleteNo yard work for me! It's pouring down rain and the creek is over its bank, big time! If it starts creeping any closer, I think I'll call the fire dept. and ask for sandbags! yikes! Have fun in the yard- wish I could find me a $5 palm to pot! ding-a-ling here accidentally posted twice because I didn't see my link- could you please delete #120? Sheesh....
ReplyDeletehugs, Sue

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I am eager to beginning my spring planting too but it has turned cold and very rainy. That doesn't put me in the gardening mood. :( Hopefully soon! It's fun to think we are close to warm weather and flowers again. Thanks for hosting. I'm excited to participate today!
ReplyDeleteDonna
Linda, Your flowers are beckoning me! We are still too cold for anything but the hardy pansies and I haven't had the heart to get them yet. But my Mother says she has had 82 summers and she's pretty sure it will happen again. Have a great time digging in the dirt!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sherry
