Welcome to week #49 at NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAYS! Time sure does fly...in just a few short weeks I will be celebrating my 1 year BIRTHDAY here at NTT...I just can't believe that it's almost been a year since I had my first party. I would like to thank all of you for coming by and joining in on the fun that we all have here each week...without you... there would be no party...so as the hostess...THANK YOU!!!! March 1 is the date of my NTT BIRTHDAY and I would like to have some fun GIVEAWAYS to celebrate this occasion. I'm liking the idea of having a giveaway each week at my NTT party during the month of March...how does that sound to you? I know a lot of you have Etsy shops and I was wondering if you would consider donating a item for a weekly giveaway? I would do my best to give your Etsy shop a lot of exposure during the week that your item was up for grabs. If you are interested in donating a item, please e-mail me at coastal.charm@yahoo.com and I will add your item to the list. This week I will be sharing with you some NIFTY THRIFTY clothing items...I haven't done this for a long time and as I was leaving yesterday for church, I noticed I was only wearing items that I had purchased for pennies...how cool is that? If you have never purchased used clothing, then you just might want to check into it...it saves me a ton of money and I'm all about saving some cash! I really like top brand name clothing, but I don't like paying for them at full retail prices...so I shop at consignment shops...thrift stores and garage sales to find my wardrobe. I buy name brands such as...Talbots...Coldwater Creek...Ann Taylor...Ralph Lauren...Ellen Tracey...Gap...J Crew...Lilly and many more. Take a look and see what $7.50 looks like...some of you just might be surprise! I know my family and friends are always amazed at the prices that my outfits cost me and sometimes I am too! Thanks for showing up at my party this week and now it's time for you to share something NIFTY THRIFTY!
Have fun and I hope you enjoy
seeing some neat items and
ideas!
Linda
Get this...I only paid $1 for this dress...found
it at a local thrift store when they had
everything marked just $1!!!!
Add this black jacket that I paid $3.50 for at
another thrift store...I love the feel of it...it's
very soft!
My grey wool handbag for only $3 and
now you have my $7.50 outfit!
Do you think anybody at church knew that
my outfit only cost $7.50? I'm guessing
they didn't!
P.S. If you are wondering why I didn't show
you my face today...it's because
this is old gal needs a haircut
really bad!
