I'm A Glazing Fool

As I was painting and glazing my end tables the other day, I found a planter with some fake grass that was in really bad need of some TLC...had my paintbrush with glaze in hand...so guess what?...she got a glazing makeover! The planter was white and I planned on painting it a coco brown color, but I decided to see how she would look with a little glazing and to my surprise...she looked really GOOD!!!! My goodness...this stuff is just way cool...yes you can call me A GLAZING FOOL!!!! Hope all of y'all have a wonderful weekend...I will be cleaning up our home office and maybe I will get a few minutes by the warm fireplace with a cup of HOT CHOCOLATE.

  1. You are going to get addicted to that glaze! I don't think I commented on your green tables, but they are very cute painted that color. I may have to go buy me some paint and glaze this weekend.

  2. Linda,
I glaze everything too! Our kitchen cabinets are glazed as is the crown mold in the kitchen!
Our master bedroom furniture is off white with a chocolate glaze also. I love the glazed look!
I glaze anything that doesn't glaze me first!
    Have a wonderful weekend!
    Hugs,
    Donna

  8. I redid some furniture for my daughter's bedroom and the dresser is a beautiful blue with a glaze over it too. I sanded it down too, for an old, worn look. I'm no expert, by any means, but I did like how it turned out. I have an end table for my office that I am anxious to work on and I want to glaze it too. I may wait and work on it when the weather gets warmer. Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
