After the holidays were over, it was then time for some changes...so here I go pulling out some old things and adding a couple of new ones. Winter is my least favorite time of the year and the toughest one for me to decorate my nest...is this true for you too? With this being said, I get to work trying to make the best of it and at the same time...counting the days down until SPRING arrives here on the coast. Come along with me as I share a little bit of what I have done so far. Now be sure to come back on Monday and enter my GIVEAWAY and at the same time...link up to my weekly NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAYS PARTY!
Thanks so much for coming and please leave me
a little note, so I know that you have been here,
Linda
Linking up to the following parties...

Love the vignettes Linda, and your photos are wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI don't love winter either! :(

Winter is tough for decorating! I don't like the red of Valentine's Day stuff, either.
ReplyDeleteI do love that birdhouse. :)
Everything looks great. I love your little bird.
ReplyDeleteI've been whining about winter for weeks on my blog. I have a bad case of cabin fever.
Have a great week and I'll see you tomorrow. La
Hi Linda! Thanks for the visit, and the invite to the tuesday party... i'll be there! I love the new bits you're showing, esp the weathered little bird, and the pine cones with sea shells... I have both but never thought to mix them together... love it!
ReplyDeleteLinda~
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about winter. I can't get motivated to do anything, but at the same time know if I did make a little change around here, winter wouldn't be so tough. Sort of glad to know others feel the same!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Sheila
Love the birdhouse and the bird ... so cute! I am ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
I love that you are using nature to decorate for winter. Your vignettes look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda!
ReplyDeleteThe little church house and bird are darling! I get the winter blahs in Jan/Feb. It's hard to know how to decorate. I'm definitely craving color. Changed up the mantel today. Maybe, too early for Spring but one can dream.
Looked back at your beach house post and the room looks great! The green is really fresh and pretty! Nice change!
Hope you've had a great weekend!

I don't care for winter, either, although I've dealt with this one pretty well so far. I love the little white church and the shells with the pine cones!
ReplyDeleteI think what you did was lovely. I enjoy the jar with shells the most and I'm going to have to copy that. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love all your pretties...the birds and all of your seashells! I am growing tired of winter and it frustrates me because I normally don't feel this way until about March! Hang in there, Linda!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Love those vignettes Linda! Makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteLove the shells with the pinecones. A mixture of winter and the ocean - seems like a nice combination.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love the huge jar with the shells and pinecones! I would never have thought to put the 2 together-I love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. The little green birds adds just the right touch of color. So pretty. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I especially like the mixing of pine cones and shells!
ReplyDeleteI don't care for Winter myself! Love decorating for Spring, Fall, and Christmas, but Winter is always a bit blah. I have invested in some cute "snowflake" theme things that I pull out at Christmas and leave up until February.
Linda,
ReplyDeleteI love all your vignettes, but especially the bird! Precious!
I love the pine cones mixed with the seashells!
ReplyDeleteKelly
So ready for spring too! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job for someone who says she struggles with winter decorating. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI really like your vignettes. I'm in the 'inbetween' stage in decorating but you have given me inspiration to get some new vignettes done.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Makes me really want to go to the beach!!
ReplyDeleteLinda- thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog. I'm a new follower- your blog is beautiful!!! And I'm a fellow Alabamian! I will definitely come back and link up to your parties!
ReplyDeleteLinda~ I am no fan of winter myself.. but your photos wouldn't tell that you are not either..

ReplyDeleteI think so many of us are ready for Spring! I have been inspired visiting to see all the marvelous things ladies are doing - love your little bird and the combination of shells & pine cones!
ReplyDeleteKathy
Hi Linda! Oh, I so agree that winter is hard for decorating! Once Christmas is over I have that "now what?" feeling and in the past I don't think I have attempted doing much but being here in blogland has definitely been inspiring! Your vignettes are among those that get me motivated to try new things and mix it up a bit. Thanks for that! :-)
ReplyDeleteVanessa
I may not have the snow, but I am not a fan of winter! I do not like being cold at all! I love your vignettes! The bird is just too adorable! I love decorating with nature all year round.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda~ I hear you on the winter decorating! I have a hard time with it too. I love your vignettes- the pinecones and shells, the starfish and the darling bird~ so pretty ! I am loving the red lined jute (furniture webbing?) as well- it adds so much charm! Thanks for sharing this at Feathered Nest Friday! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. You have a great blog. I look forward to seeing you at My Dream Canvas:-)
ReplyDeleteLove the decorating ideas here. I hand carve dough bowls and trencher bowls from local Missouri hardwoods and am always on the look out for bowl filling ideas for good and interesting photos. I hope you get a chance to check out some of my work, I'm sure with your decorating hand any of my bowls would look awesome.
